Questions about Exotic Bounties
So I've been playing for almost two weeks now. I'm wondering how I can go about getting an exotic bounty. But I also have a few questions. I was told by someone that I must finish the Eris quest-line including the urn to be able to get an exotic bounty? I've done all 6 vanguard bounties on 3 characters daily for a week, and have seen nothing. Most of my friends say if they turn in all their characters, they see a MINIMUM of 1 exotic bounty a week. Is there something I haven't done, or is my luck that bad?

4 RepliesHello, You'd basically been doing the best way to earn exotic bounties. Just do all your daily vanguard bounties on all characters and you should be able to receive one soon. [b]As for your friend stating you need to finish the Urn of Sacrifice, that is not true.[/b] Good Luck!

You have a chance of getting one when you turn in Vanguard, Crucible, or Eris bounties. You don't need to complete Eris' story line, as exotic bounties were around before TDB released, but doing her bounties will give you additional chances at getting an exotic bounty to pop up. As someone else said below, it seems that it's more likely to happen if you turn a bunch in all at once, like if you spam the X or A (whichever console you're on) button when you turn them in. There may be no actual basis to this, but I've had it happen that way enough times vs. just turning in one at a time, that it can't hurt to try.

I went about 5 months before I got one and that was doing bounties every single day you can also get them from iron banner bounties too I've had 1-2 a week since my first one

6 RepliesYou don't need to complete her quest, just do one of her bounties, do about 6 vanguard bounties a day and you might get one.

4 RepliesYou have the best luck turning 10 in at the same time and also I don't think you have to do the Eris stuff.
