Please check my hunter out I have an old school Jolder's Hammer with the following perks
It's purely for PVP
Aggressive Ballistics
Counterbalance
Field scout
Crowd control
Before you guys say anything about Rodeo and Rangefinder. I've tested all 3 perks Rodeo and Counterbalance and Rangefinder on this gun. I probably rolled around 50+ times and maxed it out 3 times for testing. After multiple tests with different barrels and perks these are my conclusions
Aggressive ballistics is a must, 80 hit to the head and 64 body. That's a 3 shot hill on most occasions.
Rodeo/Counterbalance/Rangefinder all 3 are very good and a must when using aggressive ballistics. However I've noticed that Rodeo has a very unpredictable bounce it can go right or left or up diagonal. Mostly moves around in a circle. Very little to no different with or with out this perk as seen on the video below.
Rangefinder is an awesome perk to have. I don't disagree with you however please see couple of videos below. When having a different barrel like CQB it makes it much more stable and easier to control. You can clearly see from the videos how much stability you loose with rangefinder and rodeo at longer distances when using aggressive ballistics.
Counterbalance on the other hand only moves up and down when using aggressive ballistics so makes it so much easier to control. You can see this on some videos such as planet destiny review of Jolder's Hammer. See below:
Planet Destiny (counterbalance/rodeo) http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BEuqyhMO0d0
Counterbalance - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1ptP_O5FH4
Rangefinder - http://youtu.be/uD4ZV8CvAv0
Rodeo - http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vUJFDtZMAVs
Field scout explains it self 50 in a mag is a must. Perks like perfect balance don't help the stability enough to warrant the perks space.
Crowd Control is also a must the extra damage is insane and becomes a 2 hit killing machine on lower armoured guardians. Killing frenzy is a good perk too but doesn't come anywhere near to crowd control.
All opinions welcome!

3 RepliesSmart drift control Rodeo Field scout Crowd control Close to perfect for PVP - 2 head shots plus 1 body kills most targets. Aggressive ballistics Rodeo Field scout Surplus Great for PVP and PVP. 1 head shot plus 2 body on most PVP targets and surplus is amazing for PVE.
-
1 ReplyI invested a Lot of Materials and ended up with: -accurized ballistics -Spray and Play -Field scout -crowd Control I was hoping for feeding frenzy instead of crowd Control, but I'll take it. Stability is imho Not that important, since the RoF is pretty Low for a mg.

I came to the same conclusion you did. If you run rangefinder, smart drift control seems to be the best barrel. Counterbalance and aggressive ballistics with field scout is my favorite roll. You can choose between surplus or crowd control if you want dual purpose or PvP only

Poop Mine has aggressive ballistics, rangefinder, perfect balance and crowd control.
-
Any other thoughts?
-
3 RepliesHonestly stability perks are kinda useless on it but mine has field choke field scout and crowd control but anyways good roll mate
-
4 RepliesThat is perfect. I have one with Accurized, Rangefinder, Field Scout and Crowd Control If I could reroll mine for the perks you have, I'd definitely do it. I'm not that lucky, however. I also have an Arc Jolder's Hammer too.
-
1 ReplyIve had that exact roll on mine since the dark below
-
2 RepliesCHeck my hunters jolders
-
2 RepliesI don't really like it. I do way better with my against all odds. Has take a knee (not very good) field scout. And crowd control
-
1 ReplySurplus for PVE .. Other than that, sure. Never felt like I needed rodeo or counter balance given the slow RoF
-
3 RepliesCrowd control is overrated.
-
2 RepliesSame roll, but with range finder. Gun shreds. Void here.
-
Mine is same expect accurized, but the good thing is its ARC so it can be fun in pve too :)
-
3 RepliesMine has accurized, rodeo and crowd control. It also has field scout AND perfect balance so I can switch after picking up heavy. Now if only o had aggressive ballistics...
-
3 RepliesI have same jolders hammer. And 2 more with Range finder over counter balance.
-
4 RepliesEdited by Belmontmarauder: 7/9/2015 9:02:24 PMI have 3 one for each element. Aggressive Ballistics/rodeo/field scout/crowd control - Void Aggressive Ballistics/counterbalance/field scout/crowd control -Arc Aggressive Ballistics/rodeo/field scout/feeding frenzy - Solar I also have a wolves bane with aggressive ballistics counterbalance perfect balance and crowd control
-
1 ReplyTry mine Agressive ballistics range finder crowd control and field scout
-
Rangefinder, fieldcout, surplus
-
3 RepliesSo if I have a year 1, can still reroll to get those perks? Or did they take field scout out?
-
3 RepliesGood roll Budd - Must be a beast in Crucuble hey! I rolled two Jolders simultaneously to see which one I got a better roll on and discard the other. Ended up with: - Arc - Aggressive Blassistics - Rodeo - Field Scout - Crowd Control The second one had the exact same perk but Counterbalance instead of Rodeo and Void. For me though, Rodeo worked much better for me than Counterbalance - Seemed to get more Headshots while shooting with Rodeo on. I guess it depends on what suits the person and their play style. Crowd Control just rips apart a huddle of Enemy Guardians grouped together. Glad I ended up with this - Hell of a Beast in Crucible this one is - Even use it for PvE arc burn nightfalls if I want to use QBow or P&T in the Exotic slot!
-
1 ReplyI have aggressive ballistics, rangefinder, hammer forged, and crowd control. Jolders sniper!
-
2 RepliesEdited by Cuzcatlan1: 7/9/2015 8:33:26 PMWhat's a good roll on the Jolder's, post HoW?

2 RepliesNice roll. Almost the same as mine, except I have rangefinder. It works well for me so I'll keep it
