Technically, it's no longer a part of the game. Bungie took it out, in order to "stop" final round users. It's no longer a part of the game. It's their, but it shouldn't be. It's now cheating since Bungie had technically taken it out.
I will report any Final Round sniper users in Trials.

By your logic, and shotgun with hammer forged is cheating too. And any weapon with field scout? Obviously cheaters. The only people in the game who are cheaters are those who lag switch, those who hack/mod, and those that think they're talented when they use thorn or Last Word. Those last kind of people are the worst of the bunch.
-
It is not cheating actually. It can be aggravating yes, even more so if you hear your opponent emptying their entire clip so all they have is that round, but it is a perk within the game that was removed from all NEW sniper rifles to try and help the issue. They cannot remove it from existing guns, the only thing they could possibly do is what will be implemented come 2.0 where it will only activate on head shots. This itself may annoy some users who do not abuse the perk, but it is being done so someone cannot shoot a Guardian in the foot and kill them instantly. I personally do not own a Final Round sniper, nor do I have a desire to. However, I think that there should be specific areas of the body that the perk WILL activate other than the head (the center of the chest for instant). But maybe that is just me. *shrugs*

So many bitches on these forums

The way to get final round has been taken out not the whole thing that's like saying killing someone with "The Devil You Know" is cheating because its no longer available
-
1 ReplyIts not cheating idiot. If it was cheating there wouldn't be a bunch of people using it. And, its getting nerfed shitless in TTK

Edited by Ada Lovelace: 8/26/2015 1:55:19 AMYes it is. But it would make more sense if they changed the perk so that the first two shots precision kills.
-
Bungie will take it out, they haven't yet
-
It's not the gun ....it's the player

Mya Mya Mya Blah Blah Blah.

1 ReplyI got my spear as it was, I am not going to have it removed and put with a random roll. How about to make it fair i remove a perk of one of your guns. Seems fair. I choose your gjallarhorn and remove wolf pack rounds. How does that sound? Your gjallarhorn isnt ruined as it still works by causing damage.
-
In all honesty unless the person is using the spear and you can hear them popping shots you dont know if theyre final rounding. I get accused of final rounding all the time but im just a good sniper. (about 73% precision ratio with snipers) Honestly most people get sniped and see the person has final round so they assume thats what theyre doing but until they add in the headshot indicator in the kill feed you will never truly know. Im not defending the final round perk at all, i agree its broken and i would get a different roll if i could but its the only longbow i have. So just keep an open mind when you accuse someone of "final rounding" as they may just be very good. Of course if you hear them wasting ammo then report away. -GG

*there.

I don't have one, but if you'd like to be technical... It is part of the game because the Devs didn't remove it from existing weapons. I would argue that for it to be cheating the perk would have had to have been removed and added through a mod. Therefore, if it is part of the game, it is not cheating. Wishing it to be so because it's no longer obtainable doesn't make it cheating. No offense, but sorry.

You're just mad because you get stomped by final rounders

Edited by Scoottrullo456: 8/26/2015 1:44:45 AMIf they waste their ammo, theyre just a cock. If they don't and we get in a little sniping battle missing each other, he hits me with the final round, I'd say I deserved to get sniped.

2 RepliesCrucible is no place for mercy Guardian!!!

1 ReplyYou report people for using a sniper rifle? You should be reported for abusing the report system.

There is not enough character space in the world for how many letters I want to include in my response to your post, but a small sample will have to suffice: LOOOOOOOOOOLOLOL.

Okay watch me destroy all these scrubs Shot guns kill in one body shot respective to their range. Close range. A headshot is not needed at all to kill. Shot package and range finder are the equivalent of final round snipers. Shot guns spray pellets and have a reticle AND can be accurately fired from the hip, when ADS you do not flinch and if you do it's close quarters anyway you won't miss. But this is okay. Fusion rifles kill in one body shot at medium range. Have perks to speed up charge time, and reduce hip fire spread! Again the equivalent of the final round. You can accurately fire from the hip, ads doesn't affect you that much. Snipers. Require a headshot to kill at long range. Unlike its counter parts that can kill in one body shot at their respective ranges. When scoped in you are heavily punished for missing. Death is your punishment. If you are shot your sniper aims to the sky with flinch 9/10 you will die. Sniper rifles require the absolute most skill to use because they're unforgiving. No accurate hip fire, heavy flinch when ADS, requires a headshot. So final round causes 1 bullets to OHK, and that's wrong. But not what I stated above no that's fine. But snipers can't have a perk that make them a one hit at their respective range. Cool.. Cool... Cool....
Don't report people for doing it. Bungie can take away your report ability and make it go into a pool of false reports and crap. Then when you actually run into a cheater you can't do anything.
