No, it's good how it is. You can't just make everything in the game easy just because you can't do it. Just keep trying man, stick close, stay to the left and wait for that eye.

One person has maxed Super Good Advice and they are the Eye killer bubble popper. Sga treats shield as a miss so no ammo lost. The other two guys work the boss and adds until the game says searching for targets and you all get together on the far right side. Don't be apart because it's harder for the jailbreaker to get you free across the map dingbat.

Qodron fight is doable. It's just a pain. And honestly not worth the effort. Why waste all that time with this PoE for some stupid queens weapon, a 0.0000001% chance at an exotic and 1 etheric light which honestly most don't even need anymore. It's risk vs reward Bungie, why would I waste my time on skolas either? I'd rather run patrol in the cosmodrome and farm spinmetal, at least I can use that.

Was easy once we changes to two titans, go left boss can't hit you behind wall. Weapons of light and he was dead in no time.

3 RepliesThe Qodron fight is really not difficult. My team came up with a strategy immediately. - go to the right (the adds will not stack up on you so badly here) - 1 person kills adds that come up the left corridor. The rest of the adds will not come onto the moon shaped platform. - 1 person finds the Eye, takes it down after 10-15 seconds, uses HMG to take shields off the other players. - 1 person nails the boss with sniper, scout and rockets

Shoulda been there for his original fight. Only did that 2x on week 2. No thank you to the third. This week...still easier by a ton...but once was enough and with 15 light in the bank....extra screw that.

Its tough, but once you get into the swing of the fight you'll be fine. Shoot the head off the eye as soon as you see it so it rushes you. Also, the Super Good Advice hint for shredding the bubbles is an excellent idea. I'll be maxing mine out for sure.

8 RepliesHave you tried Skolas? The difficulty curve between this fight and Skolas is comparable to a 30-story granite wall. You think the adds in this fight are bad, wait until you're having to hack mines. Plus the arena is large enough that if the mine spawns on the far side it is literally impossible for one player to diffuse it in time. I guess I'm lucky in that I've never had any trouble with Qodron, but Skolas is just tedious and frustrating.

2 RepliesIts really not hard, and once you've done it a couple more times you'll remember this thread you made and feel embarrassed. Just go right, stick together and shoot the head off the 'Eye' when you see him. That we he enrages and comes to you via the left stairs, rather than go hide somewhere. Don't kill him to soon after the detain shields. Hit the boss when you can, maybe dedicate one guy to snipe and the other 2 just clear enemies. If you are failing with the Eye dude, then one of you bring Super Good Advice. It tears through the detain bubble and only uses about 2-3 bullets from your ammo.

No. Start working as a team and designate one to doing damage to black atheon, one to looking for the eye and destroying the bubbles and one to dealing with adds. Simples.
