I am after some good advice , I am looking for new headphones with a built in Mic after my previous headphones died tragically in a rage related incident.
I am running an XBOX One and I am not a millionaire, so whats a good option for a mid-range gaming headset, without over spending?.
EDIT: Thanks for the great comments, I took it all on board and went for the Astro A40's,
Thanks again.
See you in the Crucible.

Astro a40 Xbox one edition (baby blue) cost me 300canadian.

I used to use the one that came with the Xbox, till it broke, then I got a Turtle Beach XO one (which comes with an adaptor to connect in to the one controller)
-
Ps gold on ps4 and generic headset on Xbox one. It's a joke that you have to buy extra adapters to use regular headsets on Xbox and you can't use Bluetooth without DIY modding to official adapters

I had 2013 a40s. Too many -blam!-ing wires. If anyone is looking for a sub 300 dollar pair. The xofours from turtle beach work perdectly

My headset is starting to fall apart, so what is a good one around $150?

I just bought a http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=8636925&_dyncharset=UTF-8&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=15&sp=&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960&keys=keys. Afterglow wired communicator. It's basic however it works great on Xbox one.

Turtle beach XO fours are $100 in America, they're really great but if a game doesn't have volume controls then it'll be hard to hear your friends
-
Whatever's in your price range and comfortable for you. That's what matters. I've used a couple different brands and find that so long as you like the feel, and sound quality of them and can have them on for a while and still be comfy, it's all good.
