My husband got Gjallerhorn after the raid. I can hear him freaking out, almost breathless with excitement. I went dead fuc*king silent knowing I had screwed up with my heavy weapons inventory being full (yes I'm a hoarder and I need help lol). Staring at my character with all the ascendant crap I'll never need, I'm brought back when I hear over the party "you can tell Mandy's pissed!"

1st one was Hard Crota, but my reaction was tame as I didn't see it pop and thought my team mates were either mistaken or pulling my leg in their 'Peach you got a Galla!' exclamations. Wasn't til we got back to orbit that I had a look and saw it. Popped for another mate in the same Crota fight too, was pretty sweet. I've had it drop 7 times total now, across nightfalls, Atheon, Gorgon chest and PoE chest. Kept 1 maxed on each character, dismantled 3, and kept one unlevelled in the vault in case they bring in trading lol

Got my first from Atheon. I was the only there without out it. We killed that metal bastard and saw a vex gally and VoC drop. Didn't really freak out but I did max it in a day. Sadly my friend who still doesn't have one got to see my second drop the next day and my third from the nf the week after.

The first run through Poe lvl 28 the day after how came out. I was pretty stoked but I underestimated how truly great it was. Then I had solar burn on a nightfall and demolished the boss... I knew then this was the one for me.

I got my first one from VOG normal. I have been playing Destiny since November 2014 and had been running all raids and nightfalls on 3 characters every week since January in the hopes of getting a Gjallarhorn. Finally dropped for me at the end of April, after i had given up all hope of getting it- lol

Nightfall as a 28 back when it was a lv30 activity, and my friend who was 32 who carried me through wasn't even salty, he was so pumped for me. I was in shock. It didnt even hit me that I actually got it for like another 1-2 days. I just couldn't believe it

Normal crota.was having a bad day and after killing crota everyone said I got a gally. Afterwards they said they were kidding and I got dragon's breathe.They said to wait for end screen because we might get extra exotics.I yelled I have every exotic except gally and after 5 minutes a sexy gally popped and I ripped my balls off with happiness.

First was from xur. Didn't know how lucky I was. Second from crota, third from PoE chest. Rest are from crucible

I my first on a nightfall with my buddy who's a day oner got his first too (yes two dropped at once) I did not know what it was at the time. I was only playing for about 6 weeks. So my reaction was "what's that?" While my buddy was elated to say the least.

Finally got one yesterday on Crota Normal. Everyone said it dropped for me but I didn't see it and didn't believe any of them. I have been specifically hunting it down for 5 months now. Doing all possible exotic drop locations every week on 2 Titans and well, Crota said here you go. He is a really nice guy.

Finished PoE for the first time and gally popped up. I promptly went and ate a sandwich

Ran the lvl 28 PoE with my third character. Opened the best and got a ghorn. My first thought was well hell now what gun am I going to chase after.
