Great? Are you out of your mind? Just because they are purple doesn't make them great. They took average weapons and increased the drops to make you level them up (which takes time) to realize after your old weapons are way better. Day 1 Destiny weapons are still best.

Have you ever seen The Ash Factory? Party Crasher? Matador? Low-Grade Humility? There are AMAZING weapons dropping in crucible.

There are actually way better drops now in crucible than before. But I hear you. I play it cause pve is stale to me. I love running around crushing with my hawkmoon. It still makes me want to play. I find trials a blast. Haven't encountered many cheaters, but I truly despise last round snipers for it. I can make an efrideet that way. Just won't sink so low to do it. Ive been lucky enough to be able to give up the grind as I have basically every exotic. I need the Poe ciphers, but honestly with being busy at work I cant care enough at the moment. The old guns for the most part are amazing. But crucible does drop some seriously good weapons now. Try and get two of the couple that really excel and re-roll them with your infinite amount of motes and what not. Low grade humility is nasty with hidden hand. Party crasher to me is the new best shotgun. Plus I'm still striving for that perfect set of trials gear.

To follow up. Honestly, I'm a week one player(not day one). Yes I'd love to see the expansions re-create what it was like the first couple months. I really wanted a new raid. But since dark below I think this expansion did enough to keep most players interested. Assault rifles need to be brought back to what they were for a little variety in pvp. But pve, like most games do, you can't top the original toughest weapons to get. All they can do now is fiddle with perks to see if ppl find some things better with how they play. Fatebringer and ghorn are going to be the guns of this game. Basically nothing they can do now except restrict us going forward from leveling them to the new progression levels. But they also can't do that, because that will lose majority of those who have played for mass amounts of time. So in my mind. If your bored. Leave, play something else. I bet you will come back. I really think amongst the mass bitching over this game, they really did make something lasting that ppl will continue to play.

Ya i get alot of legendary weapons drop in PvP i delete probably 10 a week but i find myself always going back to Felwinters and TLW and Plan C and many other older weapons. The new ones just don't seem to match up as much.

Ya its decent on certain maps but believe me when im around the heavy i do hot swaps. Rather take 4 gally rounds than any heavy MG.
