Pride shader!
So I've brought this up before and I'll do it now because of the voting that happened today, Bungie should put out a pride shader to celebrate this historic day in history!
Edit: Mr Magpie suggested a cloak/bond/ mark. I think that's an even better idea!
Edit: Thanks for all the positive response guys! Sorry to all the negative people posting, I don't have enough to time to school all of you with some truth :(

It would be a nice effort to have one for pride......i personally just dont care either or......personally i think that homosexual people should be able to get married....so they can be as miserable as other heterosexual people.... Right after the straight pride shader, the guy shader, the girl shader, the im from "insert country here" shader (yes, all of them), the im "insert age here" shader, etc. NO, this will never happen. Stop with the whole gay pride crap. It was made legal in the US, who cares?

No. Not because I don't like people that are different from me, but because the game is still lacking in many areas, and you would have to provide a list on ways that everyone else could be represented however they choose; whether it's age, heritage, religion, astrological sign, pet owners, child bearers, music style, reading preferences, favorite TV/movie shows, favorite food, hobbies. Think that covers everyone. Talking about equality!! Move along now, nothing to see here

1 ReplyWhy do people always insist on having special items in a VIDEO GAME to express their beliefs/lifestyles? I mean, I'm all for the decision that was made and I'm nowhere near gay, but why not just express it in real life and not some video game that has nothing to do with it? I'm glad everyone gets to be happy being themselves and whatnot, but they just need to leave stuff like this out of video games. Just go change your Facebook profile picture and post a nice heartwarming status explaining your happiness and support of the decision that was made. I'd rather Bungie start working on fixing things that actually effect game play. Not bashing anyone, but there's a time and place for certain things and a virtual reality world isn't one of them.

So, we hear about it daily until it's legal, and then we keep hearing about it once it's legal. Is it not enough that it's now legalized? Now we have to have shaders, stupid rainbow colored Facebook photos.

Let's all be realistic now... Religion is as real as the games we play. There's no way the Traveler will help us as is for god helping us. Why can't we just all live and let live? If god is real than why doesn't he "fix" the many many many "problems" of the world? Why was the bible rewritten multiple and multiple and multiple times? Etc etc What's real is you and me. The problems WE face day in and day out is solved by what WE do. Let's just all accept one another and deal with bigger problems.

Let me get this "straight", Destiny is and has been on a curvy road for a "long" time. If it gets this "poopy" shader, it will make the game in need of "AIDS" from other companies to help "tighten" the strength of the community. Plz no rainbows...

Gay, straight, black, white, religious, non religious or whatever, you're a human being. We're all the same, we come into the world the same and go out the same. I'm not against gay marriage (or same sex marriage, if there's a difference), but I think this is an awful idea. Video games are not a place where real world politics should even be acknowledged.

Politics + Video Games = One Ticket for the Nope Train Nothing against ya people out there, but I'm sure we all know that adding something political into Destiny will only cause hate, split the community, give Bungie a load a crap, get on the news and the next thing ya know angry people who are against this will be rioting and so on an so fourth.
