Is Vision of Confluence still top tier?
Just wondering if the Vision of Confluence is still a top Pve scout rifle? I just got one and am wondering if it's worth ascending? Any advice would be appreciated.
Edit: wow thanks for all the great convo and information. Looks like Voc is still a great weapon for PVE. I will now focus on ascending it and now try to obtain fatebringer.

I have no idea what anyone sees in the fang. It's like they got it on Deathsinger or Crota and they just assume its the end all be all. OOOh I can highlight enemies. Seriously? Roll a full auto Shadow with explosive rounds and ascend that. You will never look back ;) Edit for those desperate for the burn:You guys are morons. Burns only matter for shields (and burn modifiers. Thx to thefragartist for pointing that out). It is not like solar or arc does extra damage to enemies. You are really going to take some crummy mods just so you can knock down shields occasionally? That is what your special weapon is for bro. Branch out a little, you will enjoy the change.

1 ReplyOne of my favorite scout rifles for sure, I have an ascended one and it can tear apart enemies in POE. I usually prefer my fatebringer but when I want some range vision is my go to gun.

Patrol? Fatebringer. Daily missions? Fatebringer. Weekly heroic and nightfall with no burn or solar and/or void burn? Fatebringer. Atheon? Fatebringer. Crota? Fatebringer. POE with solar and/or void? Fatebringer. Crucible? Well thats debatable.
