Replied to someone below with this... Everyone bitches about wanting change.. Bungie fix this.. Bungie fix that... you're screwing us here.. screwing us there... How do you think you'll get anything fixed or changed? They've shown the only thing important to them is money. So I'm not posting for YOUR attention.. I'm posting for THEIRS.
I enjoyed the shit out of Destiny. I love what it COULD be. But I can only deal with so much... so, this is how I show I'm unhappy and want change. If 50,000 canceled their $40 preorder - that's $2MM. They'd listen.

Watch them pull a WOW and say come on back we'll restore your deleted characters (you know the ones they said they could not restore). It is market price if we buy it then price goes up if we don't then price goes down or product goes away. I'm not paying 40 unless someone can show me some proof that the content backs up the price and it is fun to play and not just frustrating.

2 RepliesSo you deleted who knows how many hours of work you put into the game because you are mad about 3 class items, 3 emotes, and 3 shaders? So know if you get them, you have to redo all of those hours of work just to actually use those items. I fail to see the logic there. You tried to make a statement, but ended up just looking stupid. Canceling the pre order, that makes sense, but that's the only sense. You symbolically told bungie that you would buy everything over again, because you're willing to play it all again. Is that the message you wanted to send?

Everthing gaming companies do is driven by money, its not driven by customer satisfaction. Those days are long gone. Bungie is not going to change that business model. This is gaming now, spend the money or dont, thats all there is now. You have to accept that now. The people who really want to game will fork out the money, the people who arent content with the way it is now will probably not pay to play. You may not like it but thats the way it is now. Me personally, i dont think im gunna buy it, mostley because i just dont spend that much time in destiny anymore, but if when TK comes out it goes over like a huge hit, then i may buy.

4 RepliesAll Bungie cares about is money? Let's see: People have gotten hundreds of hours of enjoyment out of Destiny. They have constantly made changes based on player feedback. Bungie only released $35 of DLC for this game all year. They are selling the entire released content for only $60 for new players, something that benefits everybody. They even stripped the $20 cosmetic items from the collector's edition and offered them as a micro transaction, just like the community asked them to. So what was your point again?

I understand what your trying to do here, and I applaud you....However....In time you may feel different. What IF, and I know its a big IF....But what if Bungie comes back and makes it ALL GOOD with some offer???? All that time, right down the crapper.....I took time off from the game, I deleted the game....But I knew, at some point, I might want to give it another go...And I did, and I enjoy the game. It has it faults, and I feel Bungie is screwing us, but I'm glad I didn't delete my stuff.
