Nightfall is Valus & it is so broken it's ridiculous!
They nerfed him so hard its just stupid... Yeah he used to be a bullet sponge but by nerfing him they completely broke this strike. It is easy enough as a normal strike but now the nightfall (The 'hardest' weekly strike) is so insanely easy...
This is a video of our first go at Valus today and it only took us 30 seconds to realise how stupid this is...
He needs some sort of shield or game mechanic that allows him to either block incoming damage, or means we need to do something in order to strengthen our attacks. Depleting so much of his health just ruined the strike.
If you are you replying saying "op is an idiot I have done this strike 100 times and I just want to get it done and get the loot" then you shouldn't be playing this game. If you don't want to the do the strike nobody is forcing you too! You want top tier rewards for free with no challenge whatsoever? Why the -blam!- are you playing his game? You use the rewards to help you fight challenging things! You're morons if you don't want to do the strike and you just want free rewards.

Haven't done it yet but I totally agree. Ran in to it last night with some buddies to level some new weapons and armor during a strike sesh with us all level 34s.....complete joke, he melted in under 2 mins and that's with us just goofing around. I switched off my ghorn for a Orbiks-fel after I saw the damage 3 365 ghorn rockets did, other guy on team did same thing with his ghorn but decided to use his ghorn on adds. I ended up using my new Six Dreg Pride my Solar Her Benevolence

I get your point but it was pretty fun to hit him with rockets and see him drop like a rock. As he's done it to me, it was only fair.

2 RepliesIt's the combination that makes it seem so easy. They reduced his health, something you can't deny improved the strike. Solar/arc burn just compounded with that. Nightfalls are always easy with elemental burns. This is no easier than Omnigul or the Archon Priest with burns.

Did the whole nightfall in 7 minutes. Even completed a public event.

2 RepliesHonestly, this NF was really interesting. It turned into a fascinating blitzkrieg style of game. Hit hard, hit first, or don't hit at all. I mean, Valus Tau'uric killed both me and the other player I was working with in about a second of hitting us, but we also shredded his HP bar.
