Nightfall is Valus & it is so broken it's ridiculous!
They nerfed him so hard its just stupid... Yeah he used to be a bullet sponge but by nerfing him they completely broke this strike. It is easy enough as a normal strike but now the nightfall (The 'hardest' weekly strike) is so insanely easy...
This is a video of our first go at Valus today and it only took us 30 seconds to realise how stupid this is...
He needs some sort of shield or game mechanic that allows him to either block incoming damage, or means we need to do something in order to strengthen our attacks. Depleting so much of his health just ruined the strike.
If you are you replying saying "op is an idiot I have done this strike 100 times and I just want to get it done and get the loot" then you shouldn't be playing this game. If you don't want to the do the strike nobody is forcing you too! You want top tier rewards for free with no challenge whatsoever? Why the -blam!- are you playing his game? You use the rewards to help you fight challenging things! You're morons if you don't want to do the strike and you just want free rewards.

Dude, almost every single Nightfall EVER is insanely easy. The no burn ones are a bit of a chore is all. Get over it.

You call it too easy... It's solar + ghorn... Anything in solar burn is easy.

5 RepliesYes, it is broken when you and / or your team use a game breaking weapon. Want a challenge, don't use it. Done. Not all of us have it, so we actually have to fight at the end. Yes, I'd like to just get it over with, but I have to fight it out. Bungie then adjusts the mission because those with g'horn can get through quickly that screw over the rest of us.

Soloed it with all 3 characters, not ridiculously easy, just had to take my time. Btw, with solar burn, 11 365 gallys kill him

1 ReplyI love free rewards. I think I've earned it. So guys after valus go do level 35 skolas. It's the new hardest mission, you'll work real hard for really crappy rewards. I think op likes working hard for crappy loot lol. Then after that try going flawless this weekend. That's where the good rewards are. But good luck getting flawless. My point is this: I welcome an easy nightfall after all the very difficult ones and the nearly IMPOSSIBLE ways to get great rewards (trials)

3 RepliesIsn't it to do with the modifiers? Many people use gelly horn, and with a fire modifier... well...? Also, you did it with 2 other 34s... So some level advantage (or at least: no disadvantage, not sure if Valus is more than 32 then) for ALL the fireteam. Had you ll been 32s it would have been different.

He was easy because of the Solar burn, which this NF of Valus has never had this burn. Who cares? You want to face him with no burn? Go ahead and remember the days before he health was reduced.

Yeah we noticed it yesterday, when we had one guy leave to bring in a lower level character, the two of us left nearly killed him by accident. 3 Gjallarhorn shots very nearly took him out.
