Nightfall is Valus & it is so broken it's ridiculous!
They nerfed him so hard its just stupid... Yeah he used to be a bullet sponge but by nerfing him they completely broke this strike. It is easy enough as a normal strike but now the nightfall (The 'hardest' weekly strike) is so insanely easy...
This is a video of our first go at Valus today and it only took us 30 seconds to realise how stupid this is...
He needs some sort of shield or game mechanic that allows him to either block incoming damage, or means we need to do something in order to strengthen our attacks. Depleting so much of his health just ruined the strike.
If you are you replying saying "op is an idiot I have done this strike 100 times and I just want to get it done and get the loot" then you shouldn't be playing this game. If you don't want to the do the strike nobody is forcing you too! You want top tier rewards for free with no challenge whatsoever? Why the -blam!- are you playing his game? You use the rewards to help you fight challenging things! You're morons if you don't want to do the strike and you just want free rewards.

1 ReplyExactly what I though. When the fight started I hid in a corner to get my Ghorn from the vault. It was like 15 seconds but whenever I came out there was no enemies and I'm like "da fuq?" It's ridiculous how easy he is.

Was any nightfall really hard? No, not really. Only time and resource consuming... I actually prefer it less time consuming since it is RNG based, and that fact alone negates any intensity based reward. Easy or hard, same reward. Watching grass grow, that is more rewarding than RNG in nightfall. It can't tell I am Warlock and continues to give me Titan and Hunter gear (58 now per 1 Warlock gear!). I cannot find any reason to play it, the XP boost is nominal compared to the effort. I play for boredom. No other reason. I certainly do not play for reward for it gives me none, and that I CAN count on. I only hope it has been more generous to you all...

If it's too easy for you then you could fix that yourself. Just don't use Solar or Arc weapons. Don't be a douche-canoe.

This is the way it goes with burns, especially when that burn is solar. He can two shot you as well, so it's not like you can just be 100% carefree.

Did you bother to think about the skills or weapon sets of others ? That strike takes 13 minutes (for me); I timed it. But for others they may not have the weapons that we do or the same skill level ! This may seem redundant but I needed to beat that into your skull. Think for a few seconds.

Well now you could only use no land beyond if you wanted a challenge? No self Rez no supers allowed etc. why come on here and make a useless post which benefits no one but yourself?

1 ReplyAny nightfall with solar and arc burn is a joke. I think having 2 burns is overkill. The strike is just fine with no burns. Any nightfall with 2 burns is 10 min max.
