It's $129.99 the original price was $249.99. I think I got a great deal here. I know it works with the Xbox one but I'm just curious if I made a good decision.

Your thoughts?
Edit: It's a external hardrive.
Edit: I got it today and here are 3 pictures I took.
One was of my Xbox one showing I couldn't set the hardrive aside it because of air flow.
The hardrive is against a wood wall that's apart of my desk.
And last is of how much space I have now.
It says 4.5tb but I'm still cool with the amount I got.

For the price, you got a great deal. 5TB's is a ton of room. If you are an avid gamer, then you may even use up most of the space. I just picked up a three TB today. I dont play a ton of different games but I paid under 100 for it.

OP is not fag

4 RepliesIs that 5,000 gb?

1 ReplyWill pay off in a year or two if you play a lot of games.
-
1 ReplyI bought a 8tb for $310 preempting the release of 4k rez games
-
1 ReplyThats helluva data. It might be a tad bit large but rest assured, you'll most likely be set until next gen releases.

Edited by SamuelandCheese: 8/22/2015 8:52:42 PMHard drives on consoles are too small for the amount of downloads and patches games need (even if you have a disc), and re downloading games you want to play is such a chore. I bought a 2 TB drive and I'm not even 50% full with about 10-12 games on it (probably more I'm just erring on the side of caution) but I personally switch a lot between games so deleting to re download later really isn't efficient. 5 TB's should have you set for a good while. Edit: that's actually 50 games (about 10 major triple A games and a ton of indie/last gen games)

5TB is a shitton of data dude. A shitton. You'll be able to download like every game in the microsoft store and get away with having extra storage.
-
That's why I did, but I like to have all my games on my system, even when I'm not playing them. I hate redownloading anything.
-
Once fallout 4 and all the other games start coming out i think the space will be wise
-
9 RepliesNot really. How many games do you play at once? If it's less than 10 you don't need one. Also, probably would have been cheaper, if you needed more memory, to buy a smaller one as, by the time you filled it, the price if memory would have dropped significantly
-
3 RepliesI literally got the same 5TB drive the other day. If you're worrying about it saying 4.5TB, then don't worry; it's doing the same thing for me, but I think it's just a bug or something.

2 RepliesMay be a great deal, but its still $130. I'd rather just redownload something if need be, and keep the money.
-
Not a bad idea for the future. Games will probably only be taking up more space and 5tb for $129 isn't a bad price at all.
-
4 RepliesPretty good deal tbh. I got a 2TB for $60 something lol
-
1 ReplyI'm not a fan of seagate, I bought a 5tb western digital for $159.99. The only drives I have EVER had crash or lose data were brand new seagate external drives.
-
1 ReplyU don't have to worry about Space anymore. GG
-
1 ReplyYea if you get a lot of digital games that's a great investment.

Edited by SpeedySnek: 7/11/2015 3:54:50 PMFor anyone interested Newegg is selling a 5TB external hard drive as one of their featured daily deals for 139.99.

Lol and i thought my 220-something gb one was enough
-
Definitely a good purchase man! I got a 3 TB for about the same price a few months back so it should last you throughout the lifespan of the console
-
1 Reply1TB Is enough for me lol
