So I snipe constantly in trials, it's all I do, my praedyths revenge is my baby. However, I'm ready to move on to something with a bit more impact so I can 1 shot over revive shields. Now my question is, with my her benevolence, do I need armor piercing rounds to 1 shot kill thru shield or is the base 365 impact enough? I don't know if I should put on speed reload or armor piercing..thanks!!

14 RepliesEdited by Whiskerknot: 6/19/2015 7:34:38 PMDoes anyone miss where you could shoot through solid objects with armor piercing on a sniper weapon like in the movies? I do. Also thought it was funny when they thought they were safe behind a a boulder or object. I miss that fun.

No the impact is enough. Armor piercing is a wasted perk now

1 ReplyWill a ldr do the trick
-
4 RepliesLdr. Ambush. Field scout. Faster rof than efrideets spear and more impact than preadyths. Plus the aim assist seems super high
-
Her benevolence get hidden hand unflinching shortgaze scope with a middle perk you like ex injection mold or I prefer snapshot tbh
-
The impact on the benevolence is enough
-
5 RepliesAnything with the impact of Patience and Time can kill through a revive shield. I'll know there's currently another sniper available that has that same impact. I'll get back to you if I remember which one.
-
6 RepliesIf you want to one shot someone with an over shield you need to headshot them with an armour piercing sniper
-
Just a base 331 Benevolence will do
-
It can one shot without armor piercing
-
You don't need it
-
1 ReplyYou want shortgaze, speed reload, hidden hand, and performance bonus! It's a monster! Unflinching is a broken perk so don't go for that.
-
LDR but if you dont have that then her benevolence. Just roll the right perks and this two are beast

Edited by D1ll0n_FST: 6/19/2015 11:47:40 PMI believe her benevolence can hit through revive shields but it's on the lower end of the deal, I looked up a chart and it shows 31 damage. Whereas guns that are known to one shot revives such as efrideets spear showed 37 damage.
-
It can I use that with ambush, unflinching, hidden hand, and some kind of balance buff for the middle column
-
Her benevolence has high impact for th I se revive shields. Also the shadow of veils has same impact and r.o.f as her benevolence and icebreaker.
-
I got rodeo stability perk and easier aiming under fire. Is that a good roll I wonder? Don't know, never liked hidden hand, but you don't need ap rounds for shield breaking
-
3 RepliesYou need hidden hand and shortgaze if you don't have. I think ideal middle perk is snapshot, quickdraw, injection mold, and then hand laid stock. Last perk doesn't make to much of a difference but unflinching and performance bonus are at the top.

Nah it one shots self res with a head shot at 331 attack, I made a clip on xbox one I think, if you can find it that is!

9 RepliesHer benevolence is an excellent choice, but you don't need AP rounds. Go with hidden hand and whatever other perk suits your style. If you have any legacy weapons, the LDR can be a monster with the right perks, but out of the new ones, Her Benevolebce is one of my favorites. A new Efrideets Spear with the right perks can also tear through shields. I have a a couple legacy spears that I can absolutely never let go of. Here's why: http://youtu.be/MTtITyHv-b0 If you have a legacy Spear, try to reroll it. Mine has final round which is great for the trials cause you can get 2 headshots and just body shot the last guy before he revives (which is how final round is supposed to be used) Final round is also useful for putting a stop to any self-reviving warlocks...

6 RepliesHer Benevolence is the best sniper for that. It has high aim assist and has great impact and Rate of fire for PvP. You don't need armor-piercing rounds to kill them when they get revived. That perk makes you shoot through enemies and small walks. Try and get good rolls on yours like mine on my hunter. Hidden hand gives it extra aim assist which is always good. Unflinching lets you flinch less which is amazing. In the middle try and go for something that adds stability, but decreases range.

I think it's high impact enough already if you nail that headshot Great sniper btw
-
5 RepliesArmour Piercing is ALWAYS to way to go. You can shoot through walls with it. :)
-
No it one shot headshots through overshields regardless of the perks, so I would go for hidden hand and snapshot the last perk is up to you.

Get a shadow of veils, it's beautiful.
