Did Deej really just imply that we shouldn't collect weapons??!!
So i'm casually watching some Taken King footage on the link provided and at around the 10min 45sec bit of the video, in my opinion Deej implies that it's our fault we have lack of vault space from "collecting" things. He goes on to basically say that "we tend to use 3-5 weapons" and that we have to make "tough decisions" to better understand the game. He can't be serious right?? He's got to be taking the piss. I can think of at least 8 weapons i use on regular basis.

There isn't enough space at all, trials of Osiris adept primaries there are 12 different ones alone as well as 12 POE II elemental primaries also

Bump. Exactly why give us all these different weapons if we can't collect them lol that's the point right?! To become legend one must have an awesome arsenal.... Do the bad ass's in the action movies only use 3-5 guns??? Hell no they usually have a whole weapons locker or room full of stuff lol that they then pick a duffle bag or two assortment and go to town

Vault space in this game is horrible. I almost have all the exotics and raid weapons, but my vault is nearly full of weapons. For collectors like myself this game is horrible. The more vault space update hardly added any space. I had a lot of space for my vault when it came out but as I gathered weapons it filled up. Once HOW came around had to delete a lot of my favorite weapons (a pre how vanquisher as an example). In this game there is literally no vault space.

1 ReplyPoor guy can barely open his mouth without someone getting their panties in a bunch. Most players typically use a handful, keep a few extra for relevant burns, and maybe hold a handful that could be buffed in the future. Vault issues are some serious hoarding. There's not that many useful weapons in this game.

Funny. That also ties in to the whole dlc debate where a lot of people are saying that day one players (myself included) should pay more for TTK because we have weapons that aren't available to new players anymore. We won't have jack if we have to keep deleting our inventory. Could be right, could be wrong, but I think that with every dlc they should add vault space.

3-5 weapons? I usually use 3-5 different primaries in poe depends on modifiers and enemies.

Agreed. I like to have options and switch around weapons (and their perks) a lot depending on the situation. Plus... if we started deleting weapons, auto rifles would likely be among the first to go at this point. Then Bungie will buff auto rifles.

Yah if we don't collect then what's the point of running the Nightfall, weekly strike, the raids, the PoE, and Trials over and over again? Do these Devs really think the content is that much fun that we should just pointlessly replay it over and over again? Wtf Bungie you are like a bunch of monkeys -blam!-ing a football.

4 RepliesTelling us not to collect is counter intuitive to what they want. They want us to stay in the Destiny world. There isn't a lot to do besides collect gear. Same patrols and strikes over and over? And as great as the two raids are, why go back in if not for the weapons. Most of us wouldn't have crazy hours invested if not for collecting.

I have a prison set comprised of 9 weapons. A void set. An arc set. A solar set. A crucible set. A vog set. A crota set. While somebody these weapons cross load outs there a few that only get used in specific situations.

He's not going to try and build a ready for anything armament because he doesn't invest in the game like the community does. If you play all parts of destiny both pvp and pve you pretty much are going to need about 16 different weapons (minimum) on one character with a few extra in case of random nerf and/or buff.
