$130 FOR DAY ONE PLAYERS. $60 FOR NEW ONES.
So when The Taken King comes out I, along with a lot of other people, will end up having spent $130 on the game so far.. but now they are releasing a Legendary Edition that comes with The game and all 3 expansions for $60! And day 1 people will receive a shader, Sparrow, and a banner for $40. This is bullshit. Bungie, reward those who have been with you since day 1 appropriately. I am tired of having to spend money for bullshit. I love the game, it's just annoying how you really don't listen you your fans.

3 RepliesLet me clarify some things because a lot of people are bringing up unrelated topics.. I am not saying we deserve to get if for free. I am saying it is very unfair for day 1 people for have to pay again for the rest of the story. We did get am unfinished game and it's not ok gow we have to keep paying to make this game actually complete. While on 9/15 others can pay $60 for a complete game.

Very disappointed with the way day 1 players are being stitched up. I want the replica strange coin and taken king expansion.. but don't need the other 2 dlc's Just give us this as an option for £40. I'll even pay for it with my endless amount of worthless in game strange coins I've been saving forever. A few hundred strange coins for the dlc should sound fair to long time gamers.

Bungievision I will not buy the Taken King as awesome as it looks and despite how much it will pain me to walk away. I stayed since day 1, I felled Crota, I hunted the Wolves. I've done so much and I love this game BUT I WILL NOT BLINDLY REWARD YOU FOR SCREWING YOUR LOYAL FANS AND CUSTOMERS. Enough is enough. No vault space? NO DEAL. No reasonable option for those who have already given you $100 or more and don't want to repay for said content? NO DEAL. No awesome incentives for existing loyal players? NO -blam!-ING DEAL.

What's bullshit is not getting content at reduced price later on, lots of games are like that, it's that there is no Destiny 2, just another large dlc that's packaged with the old game. Just like they take us back to old areas in the game, they just add the old game to make it seem like a bigger package. There should be a new disc release that contains a new full game addition and a separate release of old content bundle edition. That's what most companies do. Shame they just aren't intent on making this great concept into an actual game...

Please offer a slightly lower prices version that includes all the extras but only The Taken King for us day ones. I'm not mad at the price reduction for new players, I just don't want to buy games I've already purchased to access the emotes and other extras.

Well the way I see it, if I am going to spend $40 on a expansion, which up until now is just a game rehashed, most if the story line is just going backwards, and a few new exotics, and pretty crappy rewards to be honest from Poe and such. Then I will most likely spend the extra 20 to get a NEW game which actually may wow me ad have more gameplay value. The first 2 expansions had minimal content in my opinion. There are plenty of new games coming out at the same time that have caught my attention. Funny thing is, this being a social game, do they realize if they push away one person that has been around since vanilla, and most play with their friends on here, then they will likely be pushing away groups of people. People will find something more entertaining. In the game world it's more about playability than a bit of eye candy. And the long term going gets old quickly when it's the same thing day In and day out for not so great rewards.

1 Replyhaha sucks for those of you who wasted [b]time[/b]/money on the last DLC. Look at that, youre all complaining anyway. Surprise surprise. Wasted 0$ after the Dark Butthole Below, because i didnt feel like going on another pointless grind; especially not while knowing that if i just wait for Comet(Taken King), i will be accomadated to anyway, because Bungie lovesss [i]New Players[/i]. Im a day 1 and IMO, HOW seemed like a waste of time, and thanks to Bungie's system, i will still acheive the highest level attainable in Comet, regardless of having skipped HOW. Also biggest reason i waited, was cause ive strickly wanted new Subclassess since the first time we defeated Atheon! that Palpatine Warlock ability is exactly what ive been waiting for 😊 As for the [b]actual game/story[/b] getting better(and hopefully [i]more challenging[/i]), my hopes are set for D E S T I N Y 2. But even then, those hopes are slim at best. Good thing im a PvPer.

2 RepliesI don't consider Dark Below or House of Wolves expansions. They were already on disk at time of purchase. Taken King is a true expansion and as we already paid for it. It should be FREE

4 RepliesWe got screwed by TDB which sucked ass. We stayed. We got screwed by multiple nerfs and weapon "balancing". We stayed. We got screwed with the vanilla Destiny which sucked. We stayed. We got screwed with glitchy raids. We stayed. Xbox Players got screwed with exclusives. Yet...Here we are. You understand my point by now. We supported Destiny from start to finish and what do we get? An Emblem, a Shader and a Sparrow...Whilst new players can have everything we have so far for way less and of course get even more. What bothers me is that there is no way to get those new exclusives for new players ( Emotes, Exotic class items, Shaders ) without having to buy the whole thing again.
