How is that panic anything??? See a Nova bomb being shot Good reaction time places bubble and saves himself + team.... If you dont understand the term, dont use it.

Yeah, sure. Whatever you say. It's definitely more likely that he just decided to use his super for shits and purely coincidental that he did it just as he saw a warlock cast his.

He obviously saw the warlock on radar and most likely saw the warlock jump up but the reaction time between seeing the warlock in the actual air them activating the super makes it highly unlikely he put up a titan bubble in reaction to it but just to give himself weapons or blessings or whatever as a bonus against his interaction against his enemy. He just got lucky that it countered his super. This is a pretty obvious and logical standpoint much more than coming from the perspective he actually purposely countered the super. Hope this helps you think logically in the future =)

No, otherwise people wouldn't be able to blink away from a novabomb. It's the same reaction time and it takes just as long to activate the super. Logically, a regular crucible player would not randomly put it down in that spot. The distance between the warlock and the titan gave him enough time to react. Watch it again and see. There are other people who've posted videos like this and it's clear that they did it on purpose to save their team mates.

Right I get where you are coming from but you didn't take my position into account either. Clearly the game is but a few kills from ending, the guy would have thought I better use up my super he follows the action out to the middle and most likely planning to set up shop there with a bubble he turns the corner and the reaction time is too fast to account for it as a response to the warlock's super. The warlock was clearly in the ready to own him and prepared but the titan I doubt even saw the blip on the radar going by the clip, watch it again. My position holds more credibility here.

I probably wouldn't have reacted that quickly with a titan bubble though as it's not in my thought process as a titan to automatically do it. I wouldn't say your position holds more credibility, but I also wouldn't say that my position is definitely correct. Your credibility statement is merely an opinion, as is my viewpoint. Either way, I'm just laying down my thought process, as are you. It was a nice debate. Good day to you sir.

Edited by Bluefoxx3: 6/16/2015 12:41:57 PMWard of Dawn isn't really a panic type of super like Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb usually are, but if you see a Warlock using a panic super like they usually do, then you have just enough time as a Defender Titan to put down a Ward and tank the super. Defender Titans are a rare thing to see in the Crucible nowadays because of how easy it is to counter them, 2 shots from Golden Gun, 2 Razors Edge attacks from Arcblade, one Fist of Havoc, one Nova Bomb and 3 Fusion Grenades from a Sunsinger during Radiance, all of them respectively takes down the Ward. For the most part, Defender Titans won't put down a random Ward like in that video unless they're in danger or want to setup a quick BoO between zones or to try and push the other team. I've done that a couple times as well though not as short distance like in that video.

That was my very point the timing can not reasonably be assumed to be a reaction. The match was clearly near closing he had a super and like anyone wants to burn it before the match ends, he moved to the area of the map where the most action was taking place and now where else would he put down the bubble but a choke point? Please answer that. You are not using critical thinking buddy.
