I have to say, after playing ESO for two days this is the "open world" I was expecting from Destiny, not the sandbox style maps we got.
Is anyone else blown away by it's scale, not to mention the massive amounts of players everywhere?

2 RepliesI haven't even played eso and still voted for eso
-
3 RepliesTotally different games, can't compare the two.

Lol Destiny is an open world

I've played MMO's since Meridian 59 in 96 so ESO is nothing new for me. It's still a lot bigger than Destiny but Destiny is very limited compared to most MMO's on the market. That said they are 2 entirely different kind of games. Destiny isn't really an MMO. Yes it's online and is a massive multiplayer but you can only see a few people on a planet, it's more like a co-op game than an MMO.

2 RepliesI don't think anyone has ever claimed that Destiny is open world?
-
5 RepliesDestiny isn't an open world game. You can't compare the two.

Edited by fahadc343: 6/14/2015 9:33:17 AMNo contest. Anyone that voted for Destiny is blind.

Destiny cant even compare to ESO's map size
-
ESO by a long shot. Not only is their world TONS better, but is was clearly developed by people who understand the meaning of words like quest and loot.
-
6 Repliesill just say im not a fan of them being online only...
-
2 RepliesOnly problem is, Destiny isn't an open world game.

Anyone in the ebonheart pact or daggerfall covenant wanna start a trade system using the eso in game mail system? Im an alchemist looking for ingredient. In return i can make weapons or armor in khajiit or high elf style. I will also trade off ingredient for food or alchemy.

ESO hands down. I can steal everything in sight. So hide your kids, and hide your wife. He be -blam!-'n everyone. I can use any armor, or I can run around and troll people in local/area voice chat. Destiny oh let me send this guy a message to see if maybe he'll answer it. I mean really can't chat with a group of guys doing an area event. YUP! I'm done with Destiny.

I'm doing the Ebonheart Pact and I thought that Davons Watch, Stonefalls, all those places in the starting region were the whole map. I browsed through the different areas and realized that it was a tiny fraction of what the game had to offer. I immediately trashed Destiny, and so far I'm very happy with it

3 RepliesESO is 10 times bigger then skyrim, only 1/3rd is accessible per faction though but still. I can't believe people had bad things to say because from what I played its pretty amazing, safe to say a lot of my time for destiny is gone.
-
1 ReplyDestiny has never been an open world game, let's get that straight.

1 ReplyWhat impressed me most was the fact depending on your alliance depended on where you started, me and my girlfriend picked different sides an we're across the world from each other, it'd take a long time to get to the point where we would cross paths
-
5 RepliesDestiny is not an 'open world' game by any stretch of the imagination. What are you banging on about?

2 RepliesChange this to #destiny, jimmy rustle max out.
