Has everyone forgot how to do VOG
I have been having no luck lately with running vog on hard seems like no one understands what to do anymore.
Anyone else having similar issues.
EDIT: over 1000 responses lots of good ones and people who seem to be committed to helping sherpa others through this raid.

Yes, I do believe you are correct. My friends only fight up to Templar... they are still trying to find Fatebringer. Most of them stop after Gorgon chest. *Maybe that's what others are doing?

Lol that's because many players who were doing vog before HOW have switched to doing Poe and trials after the HOW release. So only new players are stuck at vog. That makes it hard to find exp players and new players have a hard time.

Joined an LFG team who were stuck at Atheon. I should have taken the 8+ hour elapsed party chat time as a red flag. First teleport; I take the relic. The 2 oracle killers insist on staying far enough apart that I'm forced to waste 10 seconds of Time's Vengeance cleansing them before leaving the portal and jumping to the center platform. The dim-witted fools join me inside the aegis bubble and I see 3 of them switch to their launchers.. *Guardian Down* *Guardian Down* *Guardian Down*

1 ReplyI've been seeing the same thing lately. I'm seeing level 33 and 34's who have no idea what to do with the relic, they wipe on the oracles, can't pass the gorgon maze...ect. It's getting to pandemic proportions.

18 RepliesI've been doing a lot of vog lately trying to get back the best stat gear in game. I've seen a lot of: -people wanting to cheese oracles -people shooting rockets in bubbles -people saying "don't open that chest!" -people running, shooting, throwing grenades at gorgons -people leaving gatekeeper conflux undefended -people staring at the relic followed by "who's going to pick it up?" -hunters using golden gun on atheon -titans popping blessing of light on atheon -warlocks using solar grenades on atheon ...So no, I haven't really noticed anything different.

Bungee should just update the raid weapons to start at 331. I'm sure everybody would go back to raiding.

I still run vog on xb1. And I can guarantee you that I am better at that raid than 90% of all the people across all the platforms. I run into people all the time that wanna run relic and don't know what to do. Or people that ask what the "green stuff" is. I was in one recently and this guy was like oh an oracle. Like from the wolves missions.... These are the same people that think you need a full fireteam of 34s to do it too. Damn plebeians.

I did it with some randoms the other night and it was painful. They were acting like they'd done it countless times, if they'd been more honest it would have been fine. Someone saying you used to get drops at confluxes...if that was ever the case then I wasn't doing the vault back then... Some idiot trying to claim he knew the easiest way thru the maze, which it clearly wasn't .... Somebody was using a thorn at the oracles for God's sake. I said use your guns with Oracle disruptor on or a machine gun if u don't have one...he started using the timepiece that had just dropped ffs. Anyway, do normal before hard and get prepared... They kicked one guy who wasn't on mic because he was the bad one apparently, I gave atheon 8 tries and just left. I'd take the shield out and nobody would do any damage for God's sake! And I usually get thru fine with randoms. Big influx of noobs or something. Which is fine if they don't act like a pro of the vault but that wasn't the case !! Argh

I live VoG, but I got into a game and we did alright till we got to gate keeper than the problems started, I said I would solo Mars and asked if someone could handle Venus and all I heard were crickets. Some one finally piped up and said this was the groups second run through and instant face palm. I said ok two people go in kill the hydra and grab the relic and come out when they came out after a few trys, the guy holding the relic was just screaming I can't see. I told him to use the grenade button to clense but he just ran around screaming (sqeeker). Could not take it anymore and left

It truly frustrates me that my clanmates are the only guys that know the ins and outs of the VOG.

Back when groups interviewed you to do raids and it took hours upon hours. I've done VoG all the way through maybe two or three times. Crota no problem as I was further along when it came out. Meh oh well. Good luck on it!

Vog os still the most fun part of the game. If you are on ps4 add me and we will prob run through at about 10 gmt this evening. You don't need gally or anything special to do it. We can normally do it in 40 mins or so
