When I bought my PS4 my choices were a free upload of this game and two crappier ones. Cannon
-
Hype and friends getting it as well. Definitely got my money's worth but I was left with a lot of disappointment.
-
I bought into the hype. Definitely got my moneys worth though it wasn't exactly what I anticipated.

1 ReplyWanted a ps4 saw the white edition which included the destiny game. So totally not interested in destiny before hand.
-
It came in a bundle with a white ps4

1 ReplyI was still playing ghosts religously. I was an extinction god with around 400 escapes. Slowly started getting bored and I pocked up destiny. I didn't get addicted until I did my first raid

Been a fan of Bungie since 1998 or thereabouts, so I was always going to give it a shot. Their games, from Myth to Halo, always appealed to me on multiple levels. I fully expected to have put it down for the MCC by now. Halo was the only franchise I ever seriously played, so Destiny was only to keep my XB1 warm until the Chief Collection game around. But wouldn't you know it, I haven't put another game in my Xbox since I started Destiny, and that's my first Halo title to go unowned. No regrets here.

Im trying to get away from Eve Online so Destiny has a good sci fi theme or so I thought. Unfortunately the way Bungie communicates is nothing like CCP and also the sci fi thenes are not strong at all. Finally they have zero thoughts on how to balance weapons. Eg Optimals vs Falloff. Get gud Bungie learn from CCP

Honestly my son was getting ready to go away in the Marines I wanted a way to stay in touch with him. He bought into the hype machine hook, line, and sinker. But its been fun I've sunk more time into this game then most others by far. After the shiny new of HoW has come and gone I'm quite a bit let down though.

When I heard Bungie had a new game, I preordered it as early as possible. It didn't take much...

4 RepliesThe beta for me the gameplay was amazing and we could not criticise the story as there was one strike and 5-6 missions and the crucible in my opinion was better

Edited by LilBill6424: 6/10/2015 5:21:49 PMThe pre launch hype! The way they advertised it felt like online Skyrim with guns, you could go anywhere, meet random people in the wild and do missions with them, have great loot, and a great story. However, that's not at ALL what the game feels like now. There is no story at all

Played beta was hooked ever since
-
Bought it because of the potential it has.
-
The Alpha!
-
I didn't know what it was, just sounded cool, bought it to try it out, and haven't stopped playing since.
-
Hope
And that sure worked out well.
Finally an MMO-styled FPS that looked worth playing. It also sold me on the story, which is unfortunate. I still enjoy the game though lol.
-
The game play, the cooperative element, the fact that it was made by bungie, and a bunch of other things, I love this game so far and I think it was worth every dime. I can see myself playing this game (or future destiny games) for the next ten years :)
-
It looked so pretty in the beta. I thought it had a lot of potential and still does.
-
2 RepliesHonestly, it reminded of Borderlands. Awesome game!
-
The game they advertised
-
The sweet ass advert...

1 ReplyI love space and i was excited to play video games on other planets.. also i liked halo and halo 2, so i figured this would probably be great.
-
The beta. I was sold on the magic and mystery of an enthralling story
