The reason why Xur sold it before and so early was because everyone had no clue what it was truly capable of. Instead there should be a trade system in place so people can decide to trade there extra Gjallarhorns (if your lucky enough to own more than one.) If everyone had this gun it would ruin the luster of this gun and the thrill of obtaining such a wrecking ball. (EDIT:) I saw Xur sell Gjallarhorn but I had Truth and thought "I should save my coins I already have an exotic rocket launcher I don't need two." Boy how wrong was I. I did get it months and months later from atheon. But I will never forget my foolish mistake.

1 ReplyEveryone should have a Gjallyhorn. I need a 3rd one for my hunter aswell. I don't like that skilled players are excluded or overlooked when it comes to forming teams for content. Hell even I would rather get a player that isnt the most coordinated but just has enough motor control to walk out of a bubble, fire some rockets, synth and fire rockets again if it is going to save 10 minutes of my life. But I have been helping a real life friend do content and he doesnt have a Gjallyhorn and twice a person I got from lfg has messaged me pointing this out and asked to get someone else, even in a nightfall. Lucky I am the leader though so its either he deals with it or I get one of the other 3 or more people that messaged me.

8 months and no Gjallarhorn for some. It's about time they finally get theirs too. For the no, I want it to be rare people, 2/3 already have it. Guess what, being rare went out the door a while ago. I have 5, it's not rare. Some people are just more unlucky than others.

I think the thing about Gjallarhorn for me is that it gives me a reason to keep playing at the moment, so in that way I'd rather it wasn't sold. Even though I am fully aware that RNG is 100% capricious and it's not really "earning" it in any way, it will still feel pretty freaking euphoric to see that little icon pop up at the right hand side of the screen.
