[BUNGIE] Reporting Cheaters
Guardians,
When you encounter an opponent in the Crucible who is cheating, we want to know all about it. There are teams at Bungie devoted to investigating and taking action against cheaters. The safest and fastest way to get our attention is to use the tools we have provided in the game. Inspect the offending players and issue a Report.

Please know that cheating does not include tactical decisions like camping or using really good weapons. We're looking for people who exploit the game or the networks you use to play it.
We would like to request that you do not start discussion topics on this forum (or on other forums) to implicate individuals in acts of cheating. This has resulted in harassment of the accused. We don't want that. We'd rather investigate these matters in private, where justice can be swift. Forum threads that accuse individuals of cheating will be removed.
Thank you for your attention. We are committed to protecting the landscape of the game from cheaters.

I want to report people i played a few days ago, because i know for a fact they were cheating. Since i cant figure out the official way (and no one will tell me), please investigate these people: [b][REDACTED][/b] [b][REDACTED][/b] [b][REDACTED][/b] I dont have footage of the game but i checked their records and they all have several games of trials in a row where they get close to no deaths and no kills, definitely from kicking opponents early in the game.

We could only kill [b][REDACTED][/b]. [b][REDACTED][/b] had some sort of god mode as you can see and he could still kill us. We had good conection but he still was immune. He managed to capture the capture zone even when he wasnt even in the zone and we were unable to do so even when we were all three. The worst bit is at the end when he is immune to a fist of havock and kills the guy using super and he survives. See for yourself and judge by this footage I got of this scum. Please let Bungie see this and report these: Ps4 usernames: [b][REDACTED][/b] and [b][REDACTED][/b] . Both of them were unkillable at times. So are they not doing their job or are you not doing yours deej? If you guys at bungie don't want to ban these cheaters, well then you, the other team, or both of you should lose their jobs.

3 RepliesHi, is this thread still active? My fireteam and me just got thrown into orbit from a Trials of Osiris game, getting the "baboon" error. Checked the opponents recent game history and found some indicators that these guys were using a lag switch such as games won by having .XX k/d or winning without a single kill on both sides. Please look into this, I can prepare a video if you want. Thought this issue was taken care of... Thank you and a nice weekend!

Hey DeeJ, how about you and the guys brainstorm a way to really, [i]really[/i] improve the lag issues in the Crucible. No word from Bungie about it. You could atleast say "yeah on it guys" in a weekly update but no, nothing. You really need to start showing the community that you are listening. Do it. Don't just say it.

1 ReplyI have an issue on hand. I joined a doubles match with randoms. I get there, get 3 kills and the other team just disappears. Well, they must have quit I thought. After that, I get an invite from my team mate, who is a random. Never met this guy before today. He then tells me about how he is lagging them out and kicking them. Getting an easy win. He had already started another match after I joined his fireteam. So, now here I am, stuck in a match with a cheater and don't want to quit in fear of getting a temporary ban that way also. I told him I wasn't interested in cheating, and I don't want a ban. Of course, he kicks them. I leave matchmaking and fireteam immediately. First my network crashes, I have no wifi, and keep getting kicked right at the end of every match I've tried playing since, with the exception of one match recently. Idk if it's just coincidence or he is messing with me. For the record though, I've never cheated in a match, don't quit early if I'm losing, and have never cheated in Trials either. Check my record if you don't believe me. I simply joined a guy I didn't know was cheating until after the fact and left asap. Any suggestions? I wish I would have recorded the game play, but I didn't. I do have his GT though, but not sure if I should report him as I think he is still messing with me somehow.

The guardians were stuck in one spot then would kill you instantly in another when you're unloading bullets but they're not registering. Also was 5 wins into my 5th passage this week going for 9-0 which I've 2x this weekend and in the game as well after I popped my super I got a kill and then was disconnected from the servers while my super was active. 1 ReplyI played deej in trials and he was using a lag switch. He started the match with a team and then 2 left. He proceeded to 1v3 us killing us only with melee punches between dancing while we poured fire into him. He was the only reason I didnt get to the light house. [spoiler]j/k[/spoiler]

It is incredibly hard to use this strategy if your internet has been DDOSED and you are then knocked out of the game. I suggest you can report recent players too.

We were winning 4-1 our 3rd memeber got kicked in the last match and I ended up on thete team, yes they had FOUR players for a single round and I also have a recorded clip on my xbox to prove it 4 playet at 4-1 leaving 1 member on our team. Foul play hands down I've never had that happen, we were going flawless too. I have the video to prove it and there gamer tags.

Sorry but not naming and shaming to the public audience is just weak ass. These hacks deserve persecution from fellow gamers that have suffered at their cheating hands. Political correctness will be the death of this game, same as what's going on in the world. Grow some balls and sort this crap before the crap gets the game.

Their gamertags are [B][REDACTED][/b], [B][REDACTED][/b], and [B][REDACTED][/b]. Please have these people banned, and legally charged if possible. I can provide pictures of the broken modem if needed.
