You forgot to include finding dns servers, not as important as forwarding ports but still worth changing. Google "Namebench" on pc, run program and set recommended dns servers through router and all devices (with static ips)

Every isp gives you default dns servers based on your area. 90% of the time they are old or slow. Namebench runs a test and gives you fastest servers for your area. When i ran program for first time it said the recommended servers chosen were 115% faster then what i was using. Dns servers doesnt necessarily give you additional internet speed, it just give you the full potential of the speed you are paying for
