If you just like me played since day 1 and either bought the season pass or like me got both expansions with the purchase of a special edition of the game.
With the current state of the game, are you planning on buying the next expansion? Please elaborate.
I am choosing NO. Not only was the original game a huge dissapointment full of lies they told AND showed us, the expansions were absolutely not worth 30 euros not even mentioning a part was disc locked already. The game gets worse with the day and for a company that says they listen to their community they sure do heck of a terrible job at doing so.
So much content catering casuals and punishing those who actively play. Not to mention theres CAPS everywhere and RNG everywhere. This game isnt about skill, its about Luck nothing but Luck. Cause beeing skillful in completing raids and supposely high end PvP matters shit when the reward is RNG based...
This game could have been the next thing but I doubt they will finish their 10 year plan if they keep making stupid content.
With stupid content I mean this: Wait 10 minutes for a public event to happen. When you end up alone when the wolves spawn you might take a while before completing said public event and then theres this 1 idiot at Bungie who decided it was a good idea to hide the reward for completing said public event you waited 10 minutes for. Not beeing able to find the chest is 15-20 minutes wasted without any reward whatsoever.
And then theres the Heavy Ammo in PvP. The most garbage content in the game. You play and then it spawns. Everyone hugs the Heavy Ammo and voila 18 rockets in a 3v3 game and 36 rockets in a 6v6 game.
Bungie has no idea how to make a proper PvE game and till my utter suprise they completely -blam!-ed up PvP. Coming from a company that previously only made PvP games.
Worst part of this is that the community stated whats wrong with the game since day 1 and Bungie refuses to react. Uncalled Caps on EVERYTHING. People complained since day 1 and Bungie refuses to remove it. Whats the point in all of these items that either give Glimmer or increase Glimmer gain if people are capped 24/7. 10+ items that fill Inventory and Vaultspace people have been saying needs more room. Removing the glimmer cap alone adds way mroe room but I guess the community has no idea on how everything works and whats for the best...

1 ReplySo you haven't killed skolas or been to Mercury. Judging from your grimoire, you haven't really been playing destiny for quite some time now.
-
1 ReplyPiss-poor punctuation. I can't be bothered doing the mental push-ups required to understand what you're trying to say.
-
It still amazes me that people were expecting the full completed 10 year plan from day one....
-
Battlefront will take over.
-
Theres just....so much in this post thats wrong.
-
People are stupid, why would a company base its decisions off of the opinions of people who can barely think for themselves? They will buy the content regardless, let them complain.
-
1 ReplyHonestly, my decision is riding on if they add more achievements or not.

The amount of time I've put into this game goes way beyond the 40 I paid. Well worth the money. As time goes by, it can only get better. Who knows where it could go or what's next?
-
I want to incorporate with other Houses and species of aliens to expand the Wolves with the most powerful weaponry

2 RepliesThis game is -blam!-ing awesome, keeps expanding, bungie keeps improving it, player base keeps growing, and I've been playing it for almost 10 months now. As long as bungie doesn't screw up and maybe improves their story a little im in for the long haul.
-
2 RepliesI've spent more money on a single night out than I have for nine months of destiny so far. I am happy with how things are and will definitely get the next expansion
-
2 RepliesNo matter what anybody says about lack of content or rng or whatever ( and I agree with a lot of it) I have put way more time in this game than any other. To date I've spent 100 bucks on this game and have put about 600 hours into it, imo it's been a great investment lol. And I definitely plan on buying any new upcoming content.

No. It seems like everything is recycled over and over. Save for a few items every mission is a previous one in reverse and all armor, weapons, and ships are just reakinned with little creative ingenuity. Day 1 I was excited and impressed but the grade A polish slowly gave way to the grade C execution of the totality of the content

YASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

1 ReplyYes, I was here from the beta and even though the story isn't the best, destiny is still a very fun game. I will definitely 've buying Comet.

Depends when it releases and what is with it because battlefront is right around the corner :)
-
Yes because I'm betting on improvements in game
-
Hmmm to me you seem casual
-
I won't unless they add matchmaking to all content.

Edited by JBoon21: 5/26/2015 11:33:34 PMI love the game and my gf bought me the ps4 destiny edition for my birthday and got it on release night. However, my main issue is that the storyline still makes no sense after 2 expansions. Nothing is related and they fill none of the gaps in. Ok I can understand that a game with this many people's hands in, its hard to make big moves without 40 people in management second guessing it and canceling your ideas as a dev. I can't believe the bs answer about how much work it is in making new content because you see alot smaller companies with alot less resources delivering way more content than destiny currently has. Yes I agree it is a ton of work on alot of people's parts to make even the smallest ad ons to the game but if smaller companies can do it then why can't bungie? I'm not complaining so much as the cost to content ratio isn't that bad. I feel like I got my moneys worth for what I paid and then some. I guess I just expected more. Like a storyline that makes some sense and more thought out ideas on how they implement stuff but then only months later disable it. I'm looking at you commendations. For now I am a satisfied customer for what I have gotten. However, I am not going to pre-order or buy any more content unless I see a change in the way the expansions are delivered and a general change current content. alot of people say that destiny caters to the casual. In some ways I completely agree, however add in optional matchmaking for the casual gamer that doesn't want to spend half their game time finding a group to do something quick. Just one example. Tdlr Like the game but waiting to see if the storymakes sense before buying more.

Honestly I feel like at some point they should make each raid and PoE have the same level difficulty settings so each one feels worthy of playing, I like playing most of the endgame activities although crota is a bit of a bore.

HoW should of redeemed everyone being "lied to". They changed the game quite a bit with it. They also went on to say that the expansion has more too it than they put in already. The Taken King (Destiny 1.5) will probably be huge and amazing. Can't wait to see it.

4 RepliesExplain why casual gaming is a bad thing?

1 ReplyThis time next year this forum will, most probably be dead along with the game.

I'm satisfied with the content they have provided, I do plan on buying the next DLC
