Has Battlefield Hardline killed the franchise/series?
Do you think there is hope for Battlefield after Battlefield Hardline and the broken launch state of Battlefield 4?
I like Battlefield but after the mess at launch of BF4 and the broken spawning that's Sledgehammer'like in Hardline, personally I am very worried for Battlefront 3 and Battlefield 5. What do you think?

3 RepliesIt's not battlefront 3, it's a reboot and battlefield hardline will not end battlefield as a series, DICE makes the real battlefield games. Visceral made hardline because DICE was working on battlefront.

No, they will make another game, they will just wait a while, for now the title of the series has been changed to battlefront (moving on to battlefield IN SPACE!!!!!!).

2 RepliesIt was just bait for cod players. Around hardlines launch time cod players are sick of cod and want something new. They pick up hardline, it seems familiar, they start to like BF, they are more likely to by Battlefront over BS3

Yes the bf4 launch was horrendous, it took them a year to fix a bunch of stuff and break a bunch of other stuff lol its a shotty fest now but it's fun, I don't play it as I used to though I kinda wanna believe hardline was mostly an arcade shooter type of game instead of the classic battlefield, I still believe that bad company 2 and battlefield 3 were masterpieces compared to what's battlefield now

No hardline was for lureing in cod players. The reason why it launched in March is because that is the time that cod players that bought the game in October start to get board. Hardline was the most arcadey as battlefield has ever been so it appeals to cod players. Then when battlefront comes out the former cod players realize that battlefield is better and is more likely to play battlefront .

Bf4 is still amazing. I didn't enjoy the infantry based hardline. If I wanna go against player vs player run and gun, I'll play CoD.
