The Lighthouse is bullshit and needs to be changed
No content in this game should be available only to those in the top 10% of crucible players. You wanna give them a shader, emblem, or class item? Fine. But a whole area exclusive to them? With a chest containing some of the best gear in the game? Completely unacceptable. They don't deserve it. They don't need it.
All this "lighthouse" area does is promote elitism and ultimately makes this game far less appealing.
And before you say "git gud scrub" you should know that not everyone is capable of getting better. Everyone has limits, and most peoples' limits are much lower than those who are good enough to get into the Lighthouse. It's existence is a slap in the face to 90% of the playerbase.
[b]Every Guardian in Destiny has the right to access the Lighthouse and obtain the gear from it's chest.[/b] But that's not possible, and until the requirements for accessing it are changed, it never will be.
[b]Edit:[/b] Just for clarity, I'm not saying this should be given out freely. That's an assumption you've made on your own. I do think it should be earned, but the requirements for earning it should be such that it can be enjoyed by most of the player-base. Not just the best crucible players and those they carry with them.

Getting to the Lighthouse is such a good feeling. Standing there alone after I got my Hunter's awesome Pariah chest piece, gazing out towards the horizon over Mercury with the sun and its rays gleaming like a halo around me, with the darkness of space above it, and lightning occasionally lighting up around you. You can hear this powerful wind around you... you can almost feel it upon your face. Then you remember all the thousands of guardians you had to kill to get there, all the practice and training in Clash and Iron Banner and eventually the Trials of Osiris victory.

The rewards in year two aren't even worth it.. I just do it for the sport of it. The weapons are obtainable for everyone through the bounties and the adept versions u get at the light house only come with a negligible perk - Last resort, which only comes in handy in trials or elimination... No primary elementals in year 2.. So stop complaining! Seems like everybody has something to wine about.. "ITS NOT FAIR!!" Well you're are probably ill accepting and get used to it because not everyone is equal and life isn't fair. -Oh, and correction to your rant, light house is currently being accessed by top 16% not 10%!

I think the lighthouse is a hard fought and tough accomplishment, and giving it away to people would not lessen the appeal to people who have made it already, but would hurt You the proverbial player by denying you the opportunity to feel the way it does to get to the lighthouse the first time. That is not a feeling one quickly forgets and you relive it each time you make it back to the lighthouse. So I suggest, going out there, finding a good team and make it happen. Watch some trials videos on twitch, or youtube, and learn from every loss. You will make it, if even a month or 2 from now. Took me 2 months to make it to the lighthouse when ToO was initially released, fyi.

Stop raging and enjoy the game you'll improve @ gameplay if you don't blame other people. EDIT: If the Raid wont drop things I need I'll try events like Osiris and get my gear there. Also I don't have the time for 3 Chars to run 3-6 Raids a Week.

If everyone has the right to lighthouse and obtain gear then majority has not worked for anything , and might just take the gear and infuse it into another weapon then the game is gonna be easy because everyone is walking around with 315+ weapons . Gotta earn that trip to the lighthouse young . I'll help you go flawless if you need to .

so ive been reading alot of osiris posts lately debating on if trials needs to be fixed or as some people put it "git gud scrub" from what ive found out from the numbers of people who have went flawless people who havent and people who are just trolling. the majority is saying only 3% of all destiny players have went to the light house and 10% or so have played trials thats still quite alot 250000 or more supposedly. out of that number 50% have been in some way shape or form have been carried i.e.(usually found on the forums saying "git gud scrub") and most of the rest are HoS titans or in the most rare of situations (75%) lag switchers so from a trials standpoint to get to the light house you must: come onto the forum and tell people to "git gud scrb" come to the forums and criticise people for having a different outlook on trials lag switch every game and find people to carry you seriously this is 99.9% of posts on trials related topics there is a small percentage of acctual trials players out there who dont do any of these and still make it to the light house and from all of them they all agree that a separate bracket for 9-0 only with some better drops would be amazing. why you might ask because it would only improve what trials was made for a super competitive pvp mode i just hope our community will drop the childish t-bagging unconstructive feed back and the ever popular "git gud scrub"

"They don't deserve it" You are delusional. Every guardian has the right to access the lighthouse? No. No they don't. I did hear a rumor though. Bungie is planning on making a new location. Its for people who can't make it to the lighthouse. Apparently it is going to be called The Scrubhouse...

The rewards are rubbish now anyway. No elemental primaries from lighthouse and the perks for the adept weapons are just rubbish tbh. I've got all 310+ raid gear so the gear that drops is basically useless. Though I've been to the lighthouse I think 9 wins no matter what should get you there. Be more fun that way. To equal it out take out the lose boon.

[b]TRIALS ISNT HARD!!!![/b] The only things you honestly need for Trials are [b]- Microphone[/b] (Comes with Xbox) [b]- Teamwork[/b] (Self explanatory) [b]- Thumbs[/b] (You're born with 2) If you don't have a mic you can't communicate, if you can't communicate you're sitting ducks. If you don't work as a team, you'll lose. If you don't have thumbs, you should probably get that checked out. Go ahead and check my stats. 1.15 on my Titan 1.25 on my Warlock 1.21 on my Hunter I'm not a great PVP player but yet I've managed to go flawless over 40 times. Lowering the standards is just slapping the good players in the face.
