I couldn't care less about the AR Variks is selling but I could really use some etheric light.
Have you done level 34 PoE with only 3 33's?
Edit: getting some great responses. Bonus question: let's say I just got my first etheric light. Which of these 3 weapons should I ascend: VoC, WoC, Fatebringer. I mean as far as which would be more useful in the level 34 PoE
Edit 2: to the people saying I should ascend armor first. I'm not going to ascend any non-exotic armor. I'm just going to buy armor from Variks so ascending any armor now would be a waste of etheric light. Best case scenario in 34 in 2 weeks with 9 legendary weapons ascended.
Edit 3: just beat 34 PoE for the third time. Way easier than I expected. And I upgraded Fatebringer, VoC, and WoC

Yes it's 100% possible. Today myself and a friend 2 manned it. We were both 33. And you're best bet is to upgrade armor first to get to lvl 34 as your guns will do more damage then anyway and it's much more important to have better defense in the higher level activities.

Did it last night with 2 warlocks and a hunter. Took a bit to get a strategy down but we did it in about a he 1/2- 2hrs
-
Upgraded my FB to 365. I'll get another Etheric eventually and hit 34. Not in any real rush. 4 months until comet. We'll all get there.
-
I did it with a 32 last night. It's not impossible. Just requires more teamwork
-
I did it last night. 1 Defender Titan, 1 Sunsinger, and my Hunter which switched to Bladedancer for Round 4.

Easy af , only had 1 wipe at the boss
-
If you dont use erheric light on armor you will not be able to do lvl 35 arena on multiple characters. And take advantage of the lvl 35 solar burn buff. It made it easy to beat skolas. I have no idea how to beat him next week

We did it as a team of 33's on my warlock. The level before the boss sucks. Once you figure out the boss he isn't too bad but he still sucks. Going to give it another go today on my titan. As far as your bonus question if I wasn't going to ascend armor, (which I am) no question Fatebringer.

Yeah very doable

Everyone on my team was 33. We had a Defender Titan (helpful for all of the Wizards and Knights, and Urrox), a Sunsinger Warlock (saves you from having to wipe), and a Bladedancer Hunter (important for disarming mines and reviving teammates). I can honestly say that it is the easiest to do with all three classes present (though I've heard multiple Hunters works as well). You're going to want to be on the side of the room to the left of where you enter, because there's plenty of cover, and there's a clear view of the boss. The most annoying part of the fight is Urrox's rage, where the floor burns. If you're a Warlock or Titan, you can just jump in the air to avoid this, and you should be fine. Hunters, however, NEED to spec for armor. You DO NOT need triple jump on Gunslinger. Stay as a Bladedancer, and spec for as much armor as you can. You can simply use increased height double jump, and you'll be fine. Once you know when to jump, the boss fight is fairly easy. If you have a Gjallarhorn, there is no reason for you not to use it. Three 365 Gjallarhorns do extremely well against Urrox. Black Hammers also work very effectively. Killing the adds is also very important. Any Wizards and Knights you see should be killed as soon as you can. After about five or six floor burns, the boss should be dead. This is the strategy my team used for the final boss. It worked very well, but it took an hour to get perfect. We can't wait to try the level 35 once we're all level 34.

Its not bad as long as you have at least 1 hunter imo. Having two hunters is better along with a warlock to self res.

1 ReplyOnly hard part is going the Round 4 with Arc Burn IMO. Hopefully you won't get the "disarm the mines" there (unless it's always that?)
-
I think getting to 34 is more important than weapons first but that's me but I will say myself (33 warlock) and two 33 titans did 34 PoE I think in like an hour and a half ish
-
4 RepliesThe boss is hard, you need warlock glide or Titan lift to survive the most part. I carried 2 hunters. Just about every rage one of them died.
-
Very doable, only challenge will be the boss. If hunter, switch to Gunslinger and make use of triple jump. Weapons I recommend are black Hammer and Ghally.

Edited by SaVacker: 5/21/2015 12:54:32 PMMy group did it last night. It took about 3 hours. Best way for us was to have two distract everything while I went stealth to capture the objectives. The final boss was the easiest part, at least for us. Good luck, its definitely a challenge.
-
I've completed it with 3 level 33's. It IS doable.
-
Did it yesterday took three hrs two 33s and a 32 it's doable

Edited by Deathspank1927: 5/21/2015 12:46:51 PMIt isn't too bad with 3 33s the boss was the tough part.
-
2 RepliesIt's not bad. Just finished level 35 on my 34
-
Did it last night
-
1 ReplyVery, the only troublesome level is the one before the last which has Arc burn and diffusing mines.

This week the boss is really tough...after about 2 hours trying I gave up and we had him really close, the thing was the other two guys kept dying and we had no Titan so...very possible
-
It's easy as 33.
