I couldn't care less about the AR Variks is selling but I could really use some etheric light.
Have you done level 34 PoE with only 3 33's?
Edit: getting some great responses. Bonus question: let's say I just got my first etheric light. Which of these 3 weapons should I ascend: VoC, WoC, Fatebringer. I mean as far as which would be more useful in the level 34 PoE
Edit 2: to the people saying I should ascend armor first. I'm not going to ascend any non-exotic armor. I'm just going to buy armor from Variks so ascending any armor now would be a waste of etheric light. Best case scenario in 34 in 2 weeks with 9 legendary weapons ascended.
Edit 3: just beat 34 PoE for the third time. Way easier than I expected. And I upgraded Fatebringer, VoC, and WoC

3 33s not a problem. I did the same, upgraded fatebringer. Completely worth it. Went thru 34 again with my titan and nee fatebringer and wrecked.
-
Not that hard just really intense
-
We beat 35 as 3 33s so you should be ok
-
I did it as lol 33 with two level 32's made it through but never doing that again.
-
Don't use etheric light yet. Wait till next week. If you use it now, Variks might sell the same piece you upgraded next week.

Honestly round 4 is harder than the boss fight... Unless it different for others the 2 times I've ran it round 4 was hive with arc burn and them wizards are a real pain in the ass. Lol but it a doable. We had 2 sunsingers and a Hunter the 1st time and passed easy. Then second run we rolled 2 hunters and a sunsinger and had a slightly harder time on that 4th round but beat the boss without wiping. It's all about them 365 fatebringers and 365 guhjellyhorns
-
Did you do hard crota? Then you can do this.
-
Very, make sure you have a Titan
-
I honestly got confused when I started reading about so many finding 34 PoE so difficult. We did it with 3 32's. It wasn't a big deal. Wiped way more leaning crota than I did doing this underleveled.
-
I managed and many others have as well.

Word of Crota

To get the most out of the arena u should definitely ascend armor before weapons. As for the Lvl 34 we ran it 3 33s and one person got disconnected ant the last room and we beat it with 2 and wasn't too hard. Plus teams of 33s are beating the 35...
-
It's very possible. But I recommend having good arc weapons like the fang or oversoul. And also good solar weapons for the final boss because I do believe it's solar burn for him. I always use abyss defiant, black hammer and gally.
-
We ran it with three 33s and only wiped on the boss once.
-
Literally beat it in 30 minutes as a 33. Not hard at all
-
doable, very 33.5 makes it easier, if only by so much but also think about this 33 going into 34 is the equivalent to 34 going into 35. So very very doable
-
Hardest part is round for. Good luck guardian

Ran it twice last night with 3 x 33's, first time was 2 hunters and a warlock, then again with one of each. It wasn't too bad once we worked out what best to do in each room, usually go left to the back wall where there is some cover. Bladedancing hunters really help in the hive arc burn room where you have to dismantle mines. For the last room keep jumping when he enrages, easy for sunbro warlocks and triple jumping hunters

Edited by Desticle: 5/21/2015 5:49:16 PMI beat it at 32 so very doable. But I also beat 32 at 32 solo so...
-
Edited by Swoosh 117: 5/21/2015 5:48:23 PMIt's a challenge but can defiantly be beaten.. only prob I had was the boss and 4 wipes, but we found a strat that works
-
Easy peasy 3 lvl 33s (including myself) completed it within 1 hour
-
It is doable, but tough. Persevere, learn some decent strats for the rooms with critical objectives through trial and error. I made t with a group of friends last night. Took us almost three hours, but the majority of it was spent in two rooms where diffusing mines was the critical objective. That isn't easy with arc burn hive or a ton of cabal spamming you. Also, fatebringer and VOC would be thee first two I upgrade. There's an arc burn and solar burn room, and hive and cabal are the major enemies you fight.
-
1 ReplyNah its not that difficult. The penultimate room with arc burn is harder, but a blade dancer helps a lot. For the boss just stay against the back wall and jump a lot. Not sure how you're going to buy enough armour from Variks to get to level 34 in 2 weeks though. I've heard nothing to suggest he'll be selling a different piece of armour each week.
-
I did it in a group of 3 33s; a sunsinger, defender, blade dancer. Wasn't too hard, wiped maybe four times
-
11 RepliesIt would be VERY easy if the game didn't keep teleporting us in front of enemies, ogres, Knights, etc. We never made it through the first Round because by the time someone got back from being teleported, another player was either teleported in front of the ogre and immediately smashed to death, or possibly died. By the time we resurrected said player, we'd be teleported AGAIN in front of another enemy and run for our lives. As soon as we would fire a few rounds into ogres, or Wizards or whatever, BAM.... teleported. Nice cheating Bungie. Throw the AI's opponents (Guardians) in front of them via teleportation since the enemy can't already shoot perfectly already. Is this normal, or was our game heavily glitching?

It was only hard but when you take a break and think of a strategic plan you should be fine
