Nothing against your post, I just want to make the prediction that they likely will not directly nerf the exploits. They'll likely just nerf the chests that the keys open.
And they will undoubtedly reduce the engram drops when the DLC drops.

that will be so completely unfair to the players who DID NOT farm chests. or to the casuals or people who are plain oblivious. it would set so many people back to hardcore if the chests are nerfed as you say. no way in hell bungie -blam!-s over so many guardians like that, not when they are the non exploiters.

no you are dumb. the non exploiters are the people not getting chests repeatedly. so if what the guy said happens and they nerf the chests rewards to suit the people who have too many keys, it would -blam!- everyone over who payed legit.

If they were to decrease the rewards from the treasure key chests, everyone would be affected. The exploiters would get a few more shitty guns or armor, are you really in need of weapon parts and glimmer that bad?

We'll see how it all pans out. I agree they should just go forward without any nerfs at all since none of this really hurts anyone. The worst it could do is cause the guys who have been farming nonstop these past few days to be bored after they get all the new items within a week of HoT dropping.
