Where does Destiny rank on your all time list of games?
Pick where Destiny falls on your list of best / favorite games. Whatever your criteria is be it, replay value, enjoyment on your first play through, longevity, etc...
I recently made a list of my top ten games of all time which was very difficult but it goes like this... (oh and each sequel is its own spot. Halo 1, 2 and 3 would take 3 spots so choose wisely.)

4. Halo 1
5. Destiny

5 RepliesOn an all-time list? I've been playing games since the n64 came out and I consider a lot of those to be a better experience than Destiny. People forgive it's flaws because extremely fun and addicting to play, but nothing in the game feels truly revolutionary. It's all been done before at some point and better too. I like the game but I don't think it deserves to be on a "top games of all time" list. Not when there are so many others.

Oddly enough Super Metroid is still my favorite game of all time and nothing has come along to unseat it from its #1 spot, though Mass Effect 2 came close. SM, The ME trilogy, and KOTOR basically round out my top 5. 1. Super Metroid 2. Mass Effect 2 3. Mass Effect 4. Mass Effect 3 5. KOTOR 6. Halo Reach 7. Goldeneye 64 8. Halo Combat Evolved 9. #4 all time but #1 on the "crush and then set on fire" list. Anger issues plus I've been screwed 5 times while soloing the nightfall.

I wouldn't say it was number 1 as far as my favorites go (I'm looking at you Socom II), but I would definitely say it's the game I've consistently spent so much time playing. I would rank it in the Top 5 for sure tho. Ever since I put the game in for the first time, the only reason it's been taken out is if I have lost internet for a while, or Bungie was doing server maintenance. I honestly never expected to like it as much as I do. I'm not saying it doesn't have flaws, but it's still one of the most fun games I've played, especially with a full fireteam of friends.

Uhmmm... Iam not sure if Destiny would end up on my personal ranks high, but as far as gameplay goes I would rank it quite high. It kept me ocupied for quite some time and it still has potential for more. I dont know if its fair to mix single player games and MMOs, but as far as MMOs go I would rank Destiny in my top 3 together with World of Tanks and Lineage 2 since I spent most time playing them.

For FPS's it sits right behind Borderlands 2 in 2nd spot. I can't actually compare it to other genres of game though. That'd be like saying 'what's better an Orange or a Tomato'
