If Bungie were to sell exotic weapons for a cheap price, let's say for $5 you can purchase an exotic like the Hawkmoon or Gjallarhorn would you buy them?
Personally, I'd buy Hawkmoon is there were an option.
Edit: Of coarse you would still have to earn the Vex & Nerco.
Edit 2: For those saying paying to win is wrong, what exactly were you winning in this game to begin with? The reason why the original game was stripped down is because activision wants people to spend more money on content we were promised. Realistically, most people only play this game just to receive an exotic they never had before, why not just speed up the process?

If they offered Hadronic Essence, Plasteel Plating, and Sapphire Wire I would buy those and maybe radiant materials or ascendant materials...other than that I wouldn't pay real money for anything in this game(it's not COD) and it's not not needed
-
If you think this is a good idea then YOU are to blame for microtransactions in AAA games.
-
Then the game would die in month

Nonono
-
This is why we dont have Trading. People would just buy exotics with real money.
-
well first i have to wait for hawkmoon to come to xbox :'(
-
No no no no and no.
-
No micro transactions, they will just gear progression so that you need to buy stuff and no fing way am I going to pay for items after I have payed for my playstation, payed for playstation plus, payed for the game and payed for expansions, destiny would die if they brought this out

5 RepliesWe do not need more micro transactions in video games. They are already over monetised. Mortal Kombat X is a prime example of this. I remember buying the original Mortal Kombat. Only had to pay once. Nostalgia.
-
If they do this I will not play or pay. If you want that go play cod.
-
13 RepliesNo, transactions like that kill the game. Whats the point if playing the game if u can simply buy everything
-
That one person.. No micro transactions ever! Games to easy for that.
-
If they start selling things in micro transactions I'll micro transaction my disk down to the game shop.

Edited by TexaShark_AcesUp: 5/6/2015 7:28:20 AMFor some reason I want to say this game was suppose to be F2P. So mentioning to buy weapons is spot on for that gaming model. More along the line of $20 for some and others cheaper. But with this being a normal console release it would never work. Finally having a gun drop is part of the game. But I am sure if it could happen then it may happen. Lets hope not though.
-
That's a terrible idea
-
An example that shows what the cons of micro transactions can do is the f2p mmorpg game known as Maplestory.
-
-
This is so foolish..
-
Hell no there's a thing called xur
-
They'd probably troll us where once you buy the gun, it'll drop for you in your next NF/Raid.
-
If im going to pay real world money for a ghorn it better melt real world faces.

4 RepliesWorld of tanks does this seems to work well for them even tho it's a free game they make the money from micro transactions
