Hi everyone! I know this post is a bit different than some of the typical stuff posted on here, but it IS related to Destiny and, with your guys' help, could actually be pretty cool. So for my senior thesis I was allowed to pick any topic I wanted to study from an Anthropological perspective, and I decided to do it on Destiny. Essentially, I wanted to study social interactions within the game and how LFG (looking for group) sites play into these interactions. If your first thought was, “that sounds like a cool research topic!” then you're in luck! I am looking for 18+ year old volunteers who would like to be interviewed regarding their usage of Destiny and LFG sites. Interviews can be conducted via email, phone, chat, reddit PM, or local meetup (if located in Orange County, CA). They shouldn't be more than half an hour long, and all interviewees will remain anonymous (plus, you get a $5 Amazon card for your troubles). I'll attempt to get the final paper published in an official research journal, but even if it doesn't make it that far, I will post it in some form so everyone can see the results!
