Time stood still on the moon. There was no day nor night. Six Guardians protecting the light that lives inside of their souls from the Hive spawns on the Moon. Crota remains still as a heavy gust of power thrusts into his mind [i]The Guardians should have never been able to penetrate his defenses and get so close.[/i] He swiped his hand above the Oversoul, clear images of the Guardians show. They had passed his first wall of defense, the Thrall. He clenched his hands into fists and slammed them against the table. He turns towards the Boomers standing by the walls. "I want you four on the Towers. Get the Knights, Thrall, Gatekeepers, Ogres, Witches, Wizards, Acolytes, I want the whole kingdom on the defensive. I need more defense! DO NOT LET THEM PASS!" The Boomers nod and rush out of the room. Crota turns back to Oversoul, his looking glass. He watches as the Guardians defeat his Ogres and make their way to his Deathsinger. Crota yells in frustration at his weak protection. He grabs his sword from it's table, the Thrall praying look up at their God, questioning his actions. "Guardians." Crota says as he watches them kill his last defense. He stomps powerfully, making the entire platform shake. The broken pieces begin to form together, he was ready to defend himself, to make his father proud of him. After a long battle Crota becomes enraged. He was [i]losing[/i]. He was [i]dying[/i]. The Guardians fire with everything they have, every member shot off rockets, taking Crota down, another Guardian jumps up and swings Crota's own sword at him. He took his final breath, he saw the Guardian pull back the sword and everything went black. Oryx sat on his throne, being worshipped by the Taken. He raised his head as a door opened, revealing a Knight. He walked past all of the Taken and held his head high. "News, my liege, about the Hive Prince." Said the Knight. Oryx waved his hand, motioning for him to speak. "He has perished, my liege. Guardians invaded his home and vanquished all of his defenses, he took the matter into his own hands and lost. The Light was too much for him.." The Knight's voice didn't shake but he was indeed terrified about what the God would do. Oryx stood, he reached out to his son using his Oversoul. No response. He no longer felt complete as he had before. He was empty. Oryx clutched his chest and let of a soul-shaking roar of pain and anger. "I will destroy all Guardians. I will destroy the Light. The Traveler will DIE."
