Report them. Do everything to your Internet to make it as good as possible. If it still happens then blame Bungie's servers. Besides that there's nothing you can really do.

the point of the thread is to address the issue of lag, regardless of cheaters or not.

I know. But your complaint isn't the first. It's already been addressed in that sense since the first complaint addresses it. You've added to the pile of complaints addressing this. Bungie knows that there's a problem, the only thing that'll make your Internet better fast is something you do on your end, because it'll take Bungie forever to do anything on theirs. That's all I'm saying.

i pay a good amount of money a month for a gigabit connection. i'm shouldn't have to downgrade my speed just because developers make the dumbest decisions.

Some of us like to take the time out of our day to vent by telling everyone how much x sucks, y sucks, etc. in the hopes it will change sooner the more we express the same feelings. It's good to be vocal, and I can understand you're just trying to help them make better decisions for how they spend their time, but ultimately it's up to them and if they want to do it they have the right and you shouldn't try to discourage them from exercising this right. That's all I'm saying.
