TIP: If you are desperately searching for a health regen helmet
When you are playing the hard raid everybody needs/wants a helm that can regen health on picking up orbs (or a red death/suros). But everybody is just too focussed on the crota raid helmet or helmets like mask of the third man, apotheosis veil, light beyond nemesis or insurmountable skullfort.
What most people forget is that there are also rare helmets (blue ones) which can also have this perk. So if you don't have one of the helmets mentioned before check if a dropped blue helmet has this perk. In a crota hard raid you can switch to this helmet to regen your health again and then switch back to your other helmet again.

3 RepliesIf you're playing HM Crota for weeks now, you honestly shouldn't be getting hit. And if you do, oh well. 5/6 chance you won't be the Swordbearer so you won't need the health. Use a gun like Red Death or Suros to kill a few Thralls before switching back.

I have had a Rare helm with the regen health since HM was released. I have received 5 Hunter helms and none have been the regen health ones. Maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day.

Good idea. I used to do this with boots when the heavy ammo glitch was still around. Just don't forget to switch back!

Check and see if vendors have the perk as well, FWC and DO have health regeneration helmets for hunters.

Some vendors have them. My dead orbit has it. I read enough of the forums to know what stats I should get my lock up before I even tried the raid and what weapons. Can't wait to try HM.

I use light beyond on every raids, its pretty good, infusion and keeper of the pack its awesome

Good idea. Put on the blue helmet for a few seconds and go grab orbs to heal up, then put your better helmet back on. I do this wroth a green scout rifle. It had the perk where you shot ammo to pick it up. If I need it I'll switch to it, shoot ammo and then go back to my normal gun.
