Microsoft and Sony would never allow that to happen. If it's even possible. They want to sell the new systems. Not give people a reason to stay on the old ones.

Actually there was a mmo game called Defiance. It was a cross platform across 360, ps3, and pc. It sucked.

I did a little research and read that they tried but Microsoft and Sony put a stop to it.
