I would love it, as I am an old school Halo veteran, but I don't think it will happen because of legalities unfortunately.

They can make a parody of it. "Master Chief" is a navy rank. Microsoft doesn't own that. The sound is a frequency. It just has to approach it without being that, and sounds and music are hard to trade mark anyway. Just look at what Vanilla Ice sto. . .ahem I mean "interpreted" from Queen. And looks wise, they can parody the look as well. But all in all, they likely won't.

They don't because they sold the rights to 343 a long time ago, and I definitely don't think 343 would be willing to allow Bungie to put that in the game.

Except Halo has destiny easter eggs. And destiny has halo easter eggs. 343 is a Co company with bungie. Bungie still has a lot of rights of halo due to their contract

Halo 3: ODST. It's the mission where you have to escort the engineer out of the city. It's on a poster in one of the last rooms. That may not be 100% correct as I haven't played ODST in years.
