Dragon Age: Inquisition vs. The Elder Scrolls Online

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The Elder Scrolls Online

I know only PC users have been able to play ESO (and only console users DA:I) but if you've played both, what do you think? Since they're dropping the subscription fees I might actually get it. However, I've heard the ESO can be annoying due to the online nature of it (other players). I've only played Skyrim as far as RPGs go but I've been looking for a good, immersive one for next-gen.

A subpar MMO vs. a subpar single-player RPG that really wants to be an MMO. Wonder which will win...

    • ESO bored me. I have played through inquisition (complete story) twice and have a few other characters in the works :P It's a lot of fun. Inquisition, for me, is a game where I play the shit out of it for a while, take a super long break, and can do it all over again and still have a lot of fun. Kinda like I was with the mass effect trilogy (I will be playing those forever!!) and the other DA games. (I'll be playing those forever too :P ) However I don't really like the DA:I multiplayer.

    • I'm a filthy casual, so I, personally, am not interested in a game experience that is affected by the actions of the public at large. If other people can screw with my game, forget it. I'm all for co-op, but not competitive. Case in point, Destiny. This is a shared world with stupid bounties, but if you're going to do it there are certain areas you need to farm. On multiple occasions I've had people deliberately sit in areas that prevent spawning, I know it's deliberate coz they'd notice someone was trying to farm, follow them when they left, then go back to the area to prevent spawning. Regardless, not interested. I've got a lot of time into DAI with a lot of time to go, and I enjoy it very much. Will start the MP soon once another buddy gets his copy.

eso has much more content, cause u know, mmo, i was done with dai after 120 hrs, ppl have to understand that it's impossible to do skyrim online due to techical limitations, that physics based combat takes too much in larger scale
eso has animation based combat, like dai
anyways, i like it, it's my goto mmorpg, but just don't expect skyrim online

          • If it was skyrim vs inquisition they're might be a comparison. Even dragon age 2 to ESO makes more sense. But inquisition to ESO? ESO doesn't hold a candle to inquisition.

              • Dragon age: inquisition is an amazing game packed full with quests and fun. Every decision you make effects the world. Elder scrolls online in the other hand is a buggy, repetitive mess that isn't worth your time. I've played both.

                • Dragon age. It's simple, ESO is just bad, the subscription drop is good but it's worse than Destiny, which is VERY hard to accomplish.
