Hi guys I have a quick question... I'm going to make a hunter and I wanted to know the best way to set him up.... For example, should I make him a gunslinger with armor and agility maxed out, bladedancer with agility and recovery maxed out, etc.
Any suggestions would be great thank you

For pve I use bladedancer with the perks: arcbolt grenade, higher jump, invisibility for blink strike, invisibility for super, shadow jack, crouching grants invisibility, and spec into all agility and armor.

totally depends on what you want to do. I have basically mastered the hunter class. I ran 3 for the longest time. If you are interested in doing the new raid or pvp, I would strongly suggest starting off as bladedancer. Gunslinger is better in the vault, but your focus should be on the newest content due to max level being offered within it. Gunslinger is fun to screw around on strikes as well, but again, if you have to make one first the bladedancer is by far more useful in the new raid. As far as your spec is concerned, it totally depends on the situation. During the abyss you're going to want to spec straight armor and agility (way of the fearless and path forgotten) with shadowjack, vanish, escape artist, and stalker. You will also use this spec during crota. I change my spec during the rest of the raid for more recovery, but always leave armor maxed. As for exotics, there are two that are more important than any other two. You are going to want the mask of the third man and the don't touch me gauntlets

I use the things on all my characters to max armor and recovery. The hunter is already a fairly agile guy to begin with. Grenades suck, pick whichever one you want, I use incendiary for the gunslinger and arc bolt for blade dancer. Some guys like triple jump, I use double jump with the increased control thing. I use the combustion modifier for golden gun, it helps clearing out trash mobs, the explosions can take out two or three enemies at a time or at least damage them a little. And the thing that lights enemies on fire with the throwing knife. Chain of woe, gunslinger's trance. Bladedancer, I use arc bolt grenade. I use showstopper on arc blade most times, except during the Crota fight, I'll switch to razor's edge to get some cheap shots in on the enemies on the other side of the glass before the glass drops. Fast twitch, quickdraw 'cause I like the feeling of my weapons readying and aiming faster, and encore.

Just inspect my subclasses, these are what I roll with. For Bladedancer PvP, substitute shadow jack for QuickDraw.

Kind of depends. If u plan on raiding a lot go bladedancer so u can use sword and more people will be looking for u. If your not 2 crazy about using the sword or raiding too much go gunslinger
