What's the most unsettling science fact you've ever heard?
I'll start. Neutrinos and photons are flashing past our bodies from dead stars, and all this radiation is going through us.. We can't stop it O_O

8 RepliesI truly don't get how you age differently in different gravities. It's saying one could age ten years on earth while in space you could in theory only age 1 year. Wouldn't the laws of atrophy and entropy still apply. Why would our cellular structure deteriorate at a slower rate then another's based on proximity to a different gravitational source.

Everyone has a blindspot in each eye, but its essentially covered by the other eye. If you close one eye, youre blind spot is filled in by an estimate of what your brain thinks should be there. No ones really sure how gravity works. (-edited because people read too much into it and missed the point). Theres teeny tiny little micro-organisms called water bears. These are the only organisms that can survive every biome on earth and even surivive in space. They come in lots of colors too, like gummy bears. Ants and humans are the only animals to domesticate other animals. The weight of all ants on earth is about equal to the weight of all humans on earth. We should be afraid of ants. Humans are better suited physically for long distance running than dogs. +Kidney beans are extremely poisonious to humans uncooked. Eating as few as 3 beans can cause severe vomiting +Left handed people dont live as long right handed people +Tomatos are fruits. (No way). Yeah way. Theyre fruits.
