How should the Hunter's throwing knife be buffed?

5 RepliesPvP? Headshot should be one shot kill if every other class in this game essentially has a one shot kill melee of some sort.. I don't agree all throwing knives should kill a full health opponent, but one to the head should def do them in

It should have a bipod and laser sight with explosive rounds.

Doesn't need a buff man, what you do is go to settings> change character > delete > make a titan/warlock and have decent melee abilities.

An ability that causes it to richochet off of opponents who are within a short distance of each other would be awesome :P

3 RepliesEasy. Throwing knife gets a higher crit bonus the further it travels. Bonus at 5m , 10m, and maxing out at 15m which would be a OHK. Throwing precision shots are simple inside 5m and should not be rewarded. One precision shot at 10m or more should be able to kill with incendiary blade perk . At 15m or more a precision hit should kill, its plenty of room to get cover or be aware that a throwing knife is coming your way.

When you get a kill with it, the Hunter should scream, "OH MY -blam!-ING GAWWWD! 360-LADDER STALL-YY- ACROSS THE MAP THROWING KNIFE!!!"

It should not ohko. It is easy to land as it has a massive hitbox or some tracking/aim assist as I played my first game with gunslinger yesterday and all knives that hit were precision hits. Gtfo saying it's hard and takes skill when a noob to hunter can do it.

By adding a boomerang effect that forces the thrown knife to come back and smash through the hunters skull

You don't.. Don't you think the hunter class has way too many offensive abilities? Jesus Christ, the only class with a super on a timer that guarantees you 3-4 kills. Damage reduction makes a blade dancer tougher than a titan in his bubble. And blink... Ffs the last thing hunters need is a buff.

2 RepliesI want exotic armor that benefits the throwing knives rather than the throwing knife being buffed. It's pretty solid how it is. Not that great but isn't useless either.

Idk i get kills with it so i really dont know guess they can add a feature that makes you throw the knifes harderand further the longer you hold the melee down make it a one kill but other then that idk

Buffed? One knife takes down your entire shield and half your health lol. I love it, it's great for getting quick kills or finishing off an enemy when you run out of ammo in your mag.
