That missing piece of raid gear. A bug?
This is to find out which is the most common missing piece of raid gear. I think it's boots.
Edits:
1. Add what class you are if you leave a reply... There may actually be something to this. Specifics may help if Bungie looks into this.
2. Also add how many times you've run the raid, please.
3. If you got a full set in less than 10 runs, this poll does NOT apply to you. You are one of the few... the "chosen".
Patterns that are emerging:
Warlocks need boots.
Titans need gloves.
Hunters need chest. (or have no trouble getting gear.)
We've collected a lot of data here... is the raid loot system working as intended Bungie?

1 ReplyIt's no coincidence that raid boots are the rarest and also there's no exotic boots and the new level 30 gear coming in the next iron banner will also lack boots. Tbh it's bullshit to make it hard to attain max level rather than just give us high level content.

Ok, with 3 lvl 30 guardians and 29 raid completions under my belt I feel like I can speak with a bit of experience on the drops for this raid. Titan: so far what I have seen with the drops I have received and drops my raid group have gotten the boots and the helm are the ones people have the most trouble with. I personally got the boots my first run through but took until last week to get that helm for the Titan. Warlock: boots and gloves. Overwhelming the group I play with has been waiting for these. Most have had to use sunbreakers to get to lvl 30 or sit at 29 till that lucky diceroll for the boots. Hunter: For me it has been the chestpiece (the one piece of raid armour I don't have). For most of my squad it has been the boots and helm again. Now the thing I have to gripe about is the drop rate of the hard only weapons that drop in the raid. I am still missing the handcannon and the LMG (not a hard drop but still eluding me) It seems like the vex drops a lot more than the $^@*/ handcannon. Oh and if Just get that stinking sniper rifle or shotgun one more time.......

2 RepliesEdited by FL NIGHTMARE: 11/7/2014 8:57:18 PMI think a lot of ppl are full of it on tge number of times they went thur the raid also it matters for the sake of it did you get every chest every time I mean in a given week on 1 character you have like 10 chance for raid gear to drop if u do normal and hard the raids been out for like 7 weeks I think almost no 1 complete it the first week so you have only had like 60 chance at most for the gear to drop I dont see this as a problem.

Ran the raid every week since I got to level 25, and all I need is the damn boots for my main, a hunter!

Run it 12 times with my hunter half of those are on hard. No chest or helm. I've gotten every weapon except the pistol and launcher twice or more...

Need helm for my 30 Titan an helm and boots for my warlock. Have completed raid on normal since week 2 of raids. Completed hard on both for the past 4 weeks. Get chatterwhites, scooters and worthless ships. Have all raid guns and 2 mythos. Just let me buy my damn gear

Titan boots ran the raid...well I have lost count how many times. But I have gotten 6 helmets for my titan and none for my hunter

I have only done 3 runs through the raid with my main character (Hunter) and first time I got boots and chest back to back on normal difficulty. Waiting on gauntlets now, cant get those to save my life. In next iron banner, are there going to be gauntlets to reach lvl 30? I havent found anywhere detailing what new gear the nxt iron banner will have

So to break it down my raids went in this order: 9 normal run(s) No gear 1 hard run(s) Head 3 normal run(s) 2 Legs, 1 Chest 13 raids in total and still no arms. I made 3 Hunters to get to Lvl 30.

I was missing the gloves till this week finished it every week, I just created my second Hunter and the first raid on the alt I got the gloves on the templar, on my main Hunter the next day I got an entire set of raid gear in one raid...

I'm a warlock, I need either the chest piece or the gauntlets. I've played a few times and haven't received those pieces but have gotten 4 ships, 3 chatterwhites, 2 helmets etc. I have not bothered to play the raid ever since all these new bugs happened. Its hard enough playing with strangers but then to have all the bugs to make everyone more frustrated? No thanks.

Hunter, first run got the chest and boots. Since then I've ran the raid 15 times at the least and I've never seen a strip of armour since. It took 2 runs on the Titan before I got the chest price, and since then I've gotten nothing. Warlock has been through it probably around 11 times and I've never gotten raid armour. Last time I ran the raid on one of my characters, the only things I got were ascendant materials and chatterwhite.
