That missing piece of raid gear. A bug?
This is to find out which is the most common missing piece of raid gear. I think it's boots.
Edits:
1. Add what class you are if you leave a reply... There may actually be something to this. Specifics may help if Bungie looks into this.
2. Also add how many times you've run the raid, please.
3. If you got a full set in less than 10 runs, this poll does NOT apply to you. You are one of the few... the "chosen".
Patterns that are emerging:
Warlocks need boots.
Titans need gloves.
Hunters need chest. (or have no trouble getting gear.)
We've collected a lot of data here... is the raid loot system working as intended Bungie?

I have run the raid multiple times on 3 warlocks. What I have noticed. HM gives a better chance for gear. I got my gloves and chest (last two pieces that I needed) in a single run. Now for your theory. I have on my 3 warlocks received 4 chests 3 helms 1 gloves 2 boots I have full cleared the HM raid approximately 12 times and normal raid another 4. That's a total of 28 full clears. I got my gloves and helm at close to run 12. I know I am not your preferred demographic, but hopefully my totals can still help you out.

Warlock I need the boots and I need the chest piece I have Been doing the raid since the second week it opened and have been doing normal and hard mode raid everytime it's a tad bit ridiculous

Gotten everything but the chest piece. I have gotten the other 3 two times each. I have the lucky raspberry so am level 30. Currently working on a second toon.

I'm a warlock that has gotten 3 gauntlets, one chest price, and no boots or a helmet. I can fill the helmet slot with an exotic but there aren't any exotic boots...

My first run through the vault i got my boots, at the templar. I got the vex and ship and all that already just need that dam helmet.

Titan here. I've run the Raid 3 times a week, every week since it launched. I've never actually gotten anything [b][i]BUT[/i][/b] gauntlets from the Raid. It's actually a running joke now with my friends and I. We all bet on how many gauntlets I'll pull. Highest is 3 out of one Raid.

At the time I didn't know you could only get to lv 30 with them so I dismantled them because they had strength and I didn't need strength. Now all I need are boots. I have 2 helmets, 3 gloves, 2 chest. Also I think the reason everyone needs boots is because there are no exotic boots yet.

Need chest and helmet for my warlock...completed raid on normal 3-4 times and I got 2 boots and gloves...haven't completed it on hard yet cuz I want lvl 30 first

I've gotten 2 chestplates, 1 helmet, 4 gloves, and 3 boots for my warlock. Ya'll are unlucky lmao. Finally Just got the vex last night, now I just need fatebringer, timepiece, and the pulse rifle. Got 2 extra confluences last night too.

I've needed the boots for the last 13 runs. I got the rest of the armor in the first few.

I just been the damn boots for warlock ran raid 9 times or something even ran a few hards still no damn boots

I got gauntlets three times in one run on hard mode. I appreciate the shards from the breakdown but really?

1 ReplyMy hunter has gotten nothing but duplicates of the boots. My warlock hasn't seen anything. And my titan only needs the boots, but I get tons of duplicates of gloves. I have MANY completions, and every time I do the hard raid, I get a ship. That's why I stop at atheon. He's not worth the time.

I have 20+ completions and boots were the hardest to acquire for all 3 classes for me. My titan got it his 4th or 5th run tho. My hunter took over 10.

1 ReplyTitan. No boots. Done raid 34 times. I've done the oracles and Templar several more times than that on hard and then deleted that Titan and made a new to run through again just for the boots. It's ridiculous
