People keep posting comments about how people are hating on the game, and are calling these people "dumb", "stupid", "noobs". I personally am still 1000% percent excited for this game, but it makes me angry to see the Destiny community in the way it is currently: A big argument, which is exactly what's needed, but not one that is getting us anywhere. The creators released this video so that people can comment on what they do and don't like. Saying you hate a certain aspect of shouldn't be answered with someone calling you stupid, but being answered with another person's opinion on that aspect and not you as a human. By saying that you disliked the video doesn't mean that later down the line when you say you "love" the game, that you came crawling back to the creators. Saying that people who dislike the game only have half informed opinions, is ignorant as you don't account for the people who have half informed opinions that do like the game so far. I wish we could chill with the insults and focus on the real issue. Will Bungie provide us with what they've promised? Seeing as the game hasn't released that is still up in the air. Will it be like a Borderlands game like some have claimed? Is it a re-skinned Halo? Like I said, personally I am excited for this game and think the creators will give us almost exactly what they've promised. If you disagree that it doesn't make you any less than me. We are all equally noobs to the world of Destiny.

I am really curious about what people see Destiny as. Like some people say it's Borderlands but with more stuff. Others say its Halo but bigger. Or it's a space COD. And in all of those situations you are all wrong. People complain that they don't want another HALO but yet you compare this game to it. DESTINY IS A FPS! Seriously an FPS is still an FPS. FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. You really can't change that. So the graphics are not what people expect... Have you even thought of how big this game is? It isn't just a story line. It's not HALO! What I have noticed about people on this site is that not very many know that this is an MMO type game. Some don't even know what an MMO game is. Massively multiplayer online. Simply put... It's World of Warcraft but in FPS. Has no one realized this? It is an amazing idea. You have your RPG, FPS, MMO, and competitive play. People think, "O the graphics aren't all that great." This game is insanely massive, coming to all 4 major consoles, and it has to support the amount of players online. What the hell do you expect? It is aiming for a T rating so it can sell to the younger generation. It has to be convenient for the Casual gamers, and it has to bring a Challenge for More Hardcore Gamers. And on all fronts it does this amazingly well. It is good to see Bungie trying to please every fan base out there. Honestly the ones complaining are the ones expecting another copy of a game. Consider this.... THERE ARE OTHER FPS GAMES THAT EXIST? Why did I not know of this? Of coarse it will have similarities. But those that think this game is short or a run threw you're wrong. It will take you months or even years to explore all of what a game like this has to offer. This won't be just a game of "Beat the campaign so lets do online now." It's bigger than that. When they say this game is a revaluation, it's because it is. This will change how we look at FPS. It will change simple RPG story / online competitive play. Now you will have a billion things to do in the main game and only play competitively for a small break. I really don't think gamers realize what Destiny is.
