Title says it all. I think this is encouraging news to know that the majority of gamers (at least IGN readers in the UK who took this particular poll) are disappointed with the Xbox One reveal on Monday.
The video at the bottom of the page is very much worth watching... IGN is clearly on our side here.

I don't personally care for it, but at the same time I don't hate the entertainment focus. After all we knew this was coming long in advance. What I do hate is the blatant lack of advancement with regards to gaming in comparison and the shameless execution of the long-time tradition of borrowing games and lending them to friends among other things.

5 Replieseveryone is disappointed. Xbox one getting hammered by media and the gamers themselves. Even Xbox fans are left to rot and are converting to PS4. One of the worse reveal ever. Gaming is secondary to Microsoft now. They left the core to rot with Kinect and television.

2 RepliesI liked the PS4 reveal a lot more. Idk about you guys, but I might make the switch to the PS4.

6 RepliesLol. Of course they are dissapointed, it wasn't a presentation tailored exclusively for gamers, and therefore it is the worst presentation in the history of mankind. Now that's not to say that Microsoft couldn't have focused on games slightly more in their presentation, perhaps revealing a few of those exclusives before E3, but ultimately they've got to talk about the non-gaming features at some point.

2 RepliesEdited by Winter Soldier: 5/23/2013 5:01:54 PM
IGN is clearly on our side here.
What do you mean on our side? Is there even a side in this? People are disappointed with the nextbox reveal because they focused on pointless crap that none of us really care about. This isn't some war or something where its "us gamers vs Microsoft!!" Either the platform delivers, or it doesn't and people buy the PS4 or Wii U or whatever. Sometimes us gamers really do over react for no reason. This is almost as pathetic as EA getting voted the worst company in America for 2 years running or Adam Orth losing his job over some Twitter comments.

1 ReplyUntil E3 when they all jump back on the fanboy wagon. I guarantee most of them will.

It's IGN(orant)... Not exactly a reliable source.

7 RepliesIt would be extremely easy for me to start a poll that ends with 75% of gamers being disappointed in IGN. Doesn't mean dick.

4 RepliesI really don't understand why everyone is complaining. The presentation got me pumped for the Xbox One and the talk of certain features doesn't really concern me too much.
