Does Microsoft want us to HATE the Xbox 720 before its revealed?
I just don't understand why the guy making the Xbox 720 would go online and make fun of those that have concerns about "always on" feature. I personally think it is a bad idea.
You don't feed the anger Microsoft because as of right now I have no -blam!-ing desire to buy a 720. You are going to have to sell the shit out of me whenever you reveal your "always on" machine.
I have to say as a COMCAST customer I have times where their shitty ass service just goes out. Not all the time but at times. The last thing I want is to be playing a single player game, and my internet goes out and BOOM game over.
You'll have a bag of shit mailed to you -blam!-ers faster than you can think if that ever happened.

Nothing is confirmed but there's heavy speculation at this for a while. I can imagine the big three questions customers are wanting to know are: 1. Is the next Xbox always online? 2. Can I play used games? 3. What are the biggest changes for Xbox Live? Do I still have to pay?

I read that "always-online" was a requirement for the 360's prototype/dev consoles. The 720 doesn't necessarily have it as a feature on the standard console; we'll have to wait until Microsoft's official announcement before we know for sure. But I agree, it's a retarded feature and I won't buy a 720 if that's a feature (I already might not because of the Kinect requirement). And I have Comcast, too, so I'm quite familiar with my service randomly cutting out.

That's the main reason I'm iffy about the next-gen consoles. My internet constantly goes out when it rains and I'd like to be able to use the Xbox offline during that time.
