Hello there,Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, this forum is strictly for assistance with Destiny 2. For further assistance with Marathon, it is recommended to join the Marathon Discord Server.

 • Hello, I have figured out where the breakdown in communication is. Bungie's wording is not at all clear. In multiple places, they have posted: "How do I report bugs or provide feedback? - For bug reporting, you will need a Bungie.net account to access our Help Center Forums. - For feedback, we will be sending out surveys to your email. Additionally, you can provide feedback in our NDA section in Discord. - Access for both the forums and Discord can take up to 24 hours to update." The bolded wording here I should think heavily implies to the reader that one should go to the forums on Bungie.net to report bugs. However, this is not the case. The correct link appears to be https://help.marathonthegame.com/hc/en-us/community/posts , which are the Marathon Help Center Forums. This is not explained anywhere in the FAQ, nor is the site linked at all in the discord's News channel, while numerous links to bungie.net are provided instead. Mods replying to all Marathon threads, telling people to go to the Marathon discord, is exacerbating the issue. Those people are coming from the Marathon discord in the first place, because instructions there seemingly tell them to. Being told their wrong and to go back makes Bungie look incompetent, and makes those people frustrated. I would recommend you start providing this link to people attempting to submit bug reports, rather than directing them to the discord. For this specific thread, can you please unmark your post as the answer and mark this one instead, or edit your answer to provide the correct link? I cannot stand incorrect information being provided to people. Thank you.

 • This doesn't make any sense. These forums are labelled as "Community Forums," not "Destiny Forums." Additionally, out of the categories listed on the left-hand side, I have posted in the category labelled as "Help," the title of which does not have any specific association with Destiny. There are, however, categories which are specifically associated with Destiny, notably "Destiny" and "Destiny 2," which I did not post in. In addition, the FAQ from Bungie directly, located at www.bungie.net/7/en/marathon/playtests specifically says: "How do I report bugs or provide feedback? - For bug reporting, you will need a Bungie.net account to access our Help Center Forums. - For feedback, we will be sending out surveys to your email. Additionally, you can provide feedback in our NDA section in Discord. - Access for both the forums and Discord can take up to 24 hours to update." So we are specifically directed to the forums for bug reports, while the discord is for feedback, not bug reports. If there are Marathon-specific forums, I'd appreciate being directed to those, but based on the labeling here, the Help forum is not Destiny 2-specific, and I recommend that labeling be changed if that's intended to be the case.

 • While I understand that is how you feel, the official stance from Bungie is to use the discord for Marathon issues and concerns. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/265047209?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1

 • Nothing about what I said is a feeling, other than I suppose that I could have reworded my first sentence to indicate that it does not make sense to me. But everything else I stated was all objective observational fact. Those are the names of the forums. And that is a quote from Bungie's FAQ. A link to a forum post made as a reply to only to one specific user is not a very good way to announce things to the community, particularly when it directly contradicts the FAQ that everyone should be following. Even if I were to concede (which I'm not convinced I should yet, until the FAQ is updated or some other official public announcement is made), it's a moot point. You would be putting me in a catch-22 situation. Per the instructions provided by Bungie, in order to access the NDA portion of the discord, I must fill out the in-game survey after launching the game in steam. Obviously, I can't do that, because I can't launch the game. So what recourse do I have to report the bug?

 • Hi there! All of your questions can be answered in the Marathon Discord server. I would recommend checking out the Marathon News channel for the very latest information on this.

 • Hello, hoping I can bump this again. Where on this site do I go to report bugs for the test? I am looking for an answer that is not "Go to the Marathon discord." I have come from the Marathon discord, and the official announcements in the news channel there direct people to bungie.net for bug reports. I have even provided the official Bungie links which clearly state this, so you can see for yourself what they say, yet no one is acknowledging it.

 • Hello! I have re-read the announcements there several times now, and I am still not finding an answer to my questions. Paying close attention to the exact verbiage, it seems there's a possibility I might be added to the NDA section automatically? It's not clear, as there seems to be inconsistent word choice which muddy that issue. Regardless of which option it is, it has been about 48 hours since I was granted access to the test, twice as long as indicated in the announcements, and I still don't have access to the NDA portions of the discord. Perhaps it's a waiting game if Bungie is busy, and that's understandable, but that's not the main issue here. The main issue, is that I am here to report a bug. Per the FAQ I linked already, I am directed to post bug reports on the forums, not the discord. The discord is for feedback. I have looked again at the announcements per your direction, and found in the announcements another link to a different FAQ, which again uses the same verbiage, and directs users to the forums for bug reports, not the discord. https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/techtestapply "-How do I report bugs or provide feedback? -For bug reporting, you will need a Bungie.net account to access the Marathon Help Center Forums. -For feedback, we will be sending out surveys to your email. Additionally, you can provide feedback in our NDA section in Discord. -Access for both the forums and Discord can take up to 24 hours to update." So I feel like I am just being ignored and bounced back and forth until I give up. The discord is directing me to the forums, and the forums are directing me to the discord, and I am making no progress in either in reporting this bug, to aid in the development of the game.

 • I do notice that this time it says "Marathon Help Center Forums" whereas the other FAQ I was previously looking at only says "Help Center Forums." There is no category listed for Marathon specifically in the forums that I can see, only a generic "Help" category, which gives no indication at all that it's specifically for Marathon, Destiny, or Destiny 2. So I have to assume this is still the correct forum, unless you can point me to the correct forum on this site.
