It hasn't been long since I started playing Destiny 2. I don't have much of a problem in the PVE part. However, I am encountering really big problems in the PVP part. Especially in the competitive section, the players I encounter are never in my class. When the match ended, there was an average of 5 scores per person. Someone on the opposing team or on my own team always reaches +20 +30 scores. For example, in Trials of Osiris mode; I want to have adept weapons, but I never come across players of my level or on my own team. I'm playing with players who own Flawless that week. And if the match starts badly, they abandon that match. While I really enjoy the PVE part, I am disappointed in the PVP part. I hope they are working on this because there is not much I can do in the PVE part and I want to enjoy playing the game in the PVP part.

Bungie and their invisible pvp strike team lost control of PvP years ago

2 RepliesBeen unbalanced forever lol Now and I’ll get a balanced game but it’s like a lucky dip . Comp is just awful to play , sane as trials . Not sure what Bungie are going to do with pvp 🤷🏼♂️

Last night, played a match of Supremacy. Guy hard carried my team. With an annoying fireteam of 3 placing top on the enemy team. Next match, game proceeds to put all 4 of them on the same team. Match was close with a score of like 120-130, but you just took the top 4 players of the previous match and put them on the same team.

Edited by Zodleon: 7/25/2024 2:56:10 AMTrials is a free skill tournament, it's intended for you to compete against everyone. It takes a different mindset than most of the other modes, and I'd advise avoiding going in with the intent of going flawless until you build up the game knowledge and gun skill. There are 2 pools for trials. Practice and challenger, practice has weekly sbmm and you're only there if you have a flawed card, it also tries to kick out players trying to farm it. If you want to practice getting your feet wet in trials, flaw your card and play in that pool for a while. You're coming into a game with a lot of "vets" with lots of experience. While there are going to be medium skill players, it's going to be an uphill battle. But a challenge is always nice imo.

Equity not equal opportunity is the goal here

Unfortunately, these issues have not been resolved for many years. There is no hope that they will be fixed either. Like the topic mentioned, I am a player who wants to fill the gap with PVP content while waiting for the PVE content. But the endless imbalances and horrible matchmaking system in Destiny 2 PVP do not allow us to enjoy it, and as long as we continue to pay for this game, it will continue to be like this. Can you imagine a game making tons of money not having its own dedicated PVP servers? Unbelievable.
