I don’t see anybody running these mods and it would help the ecosystem in dealing with high mobility/strength builds while also encouraging team play.
GIVE US BACK +20 Mobility/Strength respectively

Shouldn't have been removed in the first place

They defiantly took a wrong turn on that move. And the complete BS mechanics for instance. It just goes to show that the bulk of the players don't like wonky mechanics in strikes or raids ,they still don't throw the ball to each other in the elevator room to over charge it in the current strike . I think that's a joe idea for sure no place does bungie give a heads up that's what you are suppose to do, so I don't blame them for not understanding . But Destiny would of went out of business a long time ago if it was not for youtube . Bungie don't explain anything because they know they don't have to (youtube does) and if they tried to explain it ,its so wonky in raids that they would have a hard time explaining it on paper making them look ridicules. I think Joe moving on is definitely a good thing.

I don’t see anybody running these mods and it would help the ecosystem in dealing with high mobility/strength builds while also encouraging team play. GIVE US BACK +20 Mobility/Strength respectively
Completely rework the armor and stats systems. No reason to grind new armor Most builds use the same stat distribution and ignore most stats because they don’t do enough and can be ignored entirely.

1 ReplyOld Charged with Light was fun, especially when any masterworked gun would spawn orbs on kill, back then those mods meant something and so did masterworking.

11 RepliesBringing back Powerful Friends would be a good way to address the stat disparity and relevancy issue of mobility. BUT and a big but here, it would have to be equip-able to any slot not locked to the helm slot. No on Radiant Light however as that would cause some issues and is not even remotely in the same problematic position that mobility is in.

I think the main reason these mods we're changed to no longer grant the stat buffs, was simply their potency for their low cost. For 3 charge, you got twice the benefits as a normal stat mod, as well as interacted with the charge with light system. There's also an argument to be made that those 40 free stat points help contribute to the power creep in the game, as every build had 40 extra points, it was possible to have pretty much everything, without sacrificing things on your build to achieve it. Thats not to say build crafting is in a balanced state right now, but adding more stat points into the mix at such cheap costs definitely would push it further. If you want to return to super high tiers of stat, I'd recommend the rework font mods, most residing in different armor slots, when charged with light, they give you free stats, with a single one equiped for a stat, you gain +30 to it. Putting that on an assortment of stats, as well as having good base armor, it's very possible to get leagues higher stats at a somewhat minimal cost in your build, so long as you can keep the charge with light engine going

Yes please! Those were good and helped with build-crafting. I don’t see the need to use them in their current state.

2 RepliesEdited by NotCreative123: 2/7/2024 6:06:38 PMNo. It benefited certain Classes / subclasses more than others. It results in more ability spam. It results in less customization, because the mods were too good to give up. When they were removed, Artifice Armor stat bonuses were introduced.

Radiant light should be used by all well locks, free charged stacks for teammates.
-
I want lucents bonus damage back.

1 ReplyI agree completely. The removal of these stat benefits ruined several quad builds.
-
2 RepliesThey killed like 60 loadouts I had in DIM by implementing this passive-aggressive, arbitrary change that has literally ZERO benefits for anyone and just hurts people. And then they wonder why people aren’t playing.

Yeah they were the good old days especially when they could be stacked, with artifice armour now some stat builds might be too strong. It might be able to work if it was class specific : Mobility for Hunter / Resilience for Titan / Recovery for Warlock but it's kinda been done & don't see it being implemented
